I recently purchased the ELEGOO Water Washable 3D Printer Resin 1000g Grey and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. As someone who has been using 3D printers for a few years now, I can confidently say that this is one of the best resins I have used. The fast-curing 405nm rapid UV resin ensures that my prints are completed quickly and with great detail. The grey color is perfect for a variety of projects, and the finished product is always smooth and clean. What sets this resin apart from others I have used is the fact that it is water washable. This makes post-printing cleanup incredibly easy and convenient, as I no longer have to deal with harsh chemicals to remove excess resin. I mostly print 28mm wargames figures, so another added benefit is that it produces prints that are more flexible than standard resin. While not being dropable, at least things like bayonets and swords don' t break easily

Fantastic resin and makes extrmely detailed prints. Very easy to wash in a bucket with plain water and no Isopropyl Alcohol required.

A fantastic water-washable resin. As long as you have your printer dialled in right for the resin, detail are crisp and it's a simply easy to use resin. Great product!

I really wished I switched to this earlier. Before I would be buying litres of IPA (around £8-9 a litre) and it didnt really clean my models well. I also hated the fumes it gave off (even though i wore a respirator) and how it clapped my hands (even though i wore gloves). This is SO MUCH better. My models are so much cleaner and less sticky. The fumes difference are noticeable my room no longer smells.

Great for the price and works as intended. Well made, as specified and pictured. Would buy again. Fully black - just make sure to clean well and do not scratch - cure well and it will be fine - if left with white marks use wd40 on cloth to get rid off it.

This resin is amazing, very easy to clean after use. Elegoo web site is great for help with exposure times and general information on how to use there products as well. Very happy with this resin, and got some great prints to show with it, with very little effort.

We had great success with the grey water-washable resin. It did seem to separate before using it but about 3 sessions of 1 minute of agitating made it almost uniform in color. The first print using this was the test print that came on the USB drive with the Mars 3 Pro. No issues except 1 layer not adhering to both models in the same area. It is water washable, but it takes more work. If you have a wash and cure station I am sure it works fine. For those who use a bin of water, you may want to invest in a station or a water dental pick used SOLELY for this. Takes a little longer to cure I think. Especially if it was just washed and still retains a lot of water on the project. The smell with the lid on is almost minimum, no need to use the carbon air filter. Taking off the lid though should be done slowly and in a vented area, unless you like the smell of liquid rubber. Still, fewer smells than other types we had so far. Clean up off the printer, build plate, and the vat went smoothly. I still used some IPA, I would estimate a tablespoon in the vat when I had a failure and some dabbed onto a cloth for the back of the build plate. Did give me a headache while curing, I do not know if that is common with water washable or just this color.

UPDATE: Looks like Elegoo is trying to do some sketchy stuff here, they're no longer selling the resin I purchased and reviewed under this exact same listing. My review is about the water washable resin, for some reason they're now selling their regular resin under the listing that was previously water washable, read the reviews and make sure you're getting the correct product. I've been using this exclusively so far with my Saturn 2 8k resin printer and I've gotten some incredible results! I'll be buying tons more of this resin for sure. I love not having to use IPA to clean the prints, saves a small fortune! I have started mixing in a small amount of IPA into the water with the wash and cure and seem to get slightly better results, but that's definitely optional.
