I had never tried resin before but my vacation ornament broke so I decided to try it out. This was my first attempt so all I used was beach sand and the resin. It took about 24 hours till the resin set. The unmolding was a little difficult but taking my time I was able to get both molds out without breaking them. I did have to cut the excess resin around the edges but definitely recommend giving this mold a try.

I love these molds my first attempt came out soft and never cured all the way but then i realized it was error on my part not the mold. I put too much alcohol ink in them. Second attempt was like store bought combs. And my kids love them

The mold worked wonderful

The mold is sturdy enough to withstand the poking and prodding needed to release the intricate parts of the snowflakes. I have to take my time and not try to hurry to protect the mold. I have to wait 48 hours until the resin is strong enough to go through that process. If I try at 24 hours, the arms can easily break because these snowflakes are just small enough to be rather delicate.That's what I like the most about this mold. The snowflakes are just the right size to put in a 5" round mold and fill with clear resin. They aren't large enough to be adequate coaster size on their own. And I wouldn't trust them not to break if they are used without adding protection.

Beautiful end product. Use a silicone snot sucker to get resin deep in the crevices. Beautiful design, had some cosmetic fixes to make, but I was happy.

More like kid size

So these snowflakes are pretty enough though I don't really see them being useful as Coasters being there are gaps because they are snowflakes. But they could make very cool large christmas tree ornaments. They are also decidedly difficult to fill due to how small many spaces are, I had to use a pipette and my resin would easily start to get tacky before I could finish one snowflake. So I would now suggest this for a beginner.

Made a great product. Turned out well and the lid fit is awesome.

Awesome. Just let the resin dry fully otherwise they are ackward to demold

Had to return as mould was for combs despite the label on the packets saying pudding bowls as per the description above.
