Comes with a giant sword? I'm already sold on this kit.
This is a great kit, and at the time of this writing it's only $12.99 which is an absolute steal. Gundam Astaroth comes with a rifle, a knife, and- best of all - a giant, folding sword. Another thing that's really cool about this kit is that it's asymmetrical. The left and right arms/legs are different(the legs are only slightly different, but still worth noting). The left arm has a "giant hand" which is slightly articulated to make grasping the sword more impressive. Usually, I buy the ~$6 stands to go along with each of my gundams, as many kits don't hold a dynamic pose easily/at all, but with this one you can use the sword as a "third leg" to keep it stable. Also, please note that on the photos I'm adding I've used a micron pen to go over the panel lines - all the little black lines will not be seen if you just build the kit out of the box, but I recommend any enthusiasts to invest as the difference in final product is easy to see. A additional notes not mentioned previously: Pros: -The sword folds up and can be stored as part of the backpack. This both looks cool and is easy to do. -The sword has a folding second handle, so it can be held with two hands for extra support if desired. Cons: -The mid-section is small compared to other models I've built. I'd be a little worried that the joint would loosen in a top-heavy pose. -There's no way to store the small knife accessory on the gundam's body - not that big of a deal, but worth noting. -Only one set of hands. Again, not a big deal as this guy comes with plenty of accessories to hold onto. Overall, well worth the buy!

The Astaroth is possibly my favorite IBO set so far
The Astaroth is possibly my favorite IBO set so far. The pure simplicity of the design, combined with the general ease of putting it together makes it a great choice even for novice builders, and while still beautiful even in a straight build, it gains an even more striking appearance with minimal effort touches such as panel lining. My only complaint is the hip skirt, which comes off extremely easily both due to its size and its poor connection - a factor that seems to be common in IBO models thus far. Other than that, a set that i am extremely satisfied with.

Great starter kit
Bought this gundam to practice painting and panel lining and I fell in love with it. It was really easy to build finished it under two hours. Stand very well on its own. Pieces are easy to snap on, paint took very well, and so did sharpie markers. Really debating on getting a second one.

Overall a pretty fun kit
Overall a pretty fun kit. For the price point ($12 currently), it delivers a pretty good value, despite a couple caveats. Poseability is great. I've come to expect that from the HG IBO line. Plenty of panel lining options, which is great if that's your thing. Not too many stickers which is a plus. Build is fairly simple, but is right in line with this price point. There were a couple flaws with this kit. Firstly, if you want to pose with that massive sword, you had better learn to tighten up your joints. I used some clear coat nail polish on the ball joints at the wrist and shoulder, and now he can hold the sword like a champ. However, despite my best efforts at tightening up the cylindrical chest joint used for ab crunching, that sword just weighs him down too much. All in all though, a few tweaks and his poseability is great. As far as the look is concerned, I only dislike a few aspects of this kit. The blue was too light for my taste. Some paint would help this kit immensely, but I'm not so much into painting. The overall look is not too bad though. The trapezius area in the shoulders has no bulk, leading to a pretty sparse look. The chest plate is also a little to boxy for my taste. It may be faithful to the show's design, but I haven't seen the show yet. All in all, this kit provides a great value with it's posing options and its price point. Is not a hyper impressive gunpla, but it's a solid entry in the IBO line.

Awesome, just get it!
Super easy to build, really nice looking just snapping it together. I used to be really into Gunpla and spend hundreds of dollars on paint, air brushes and countless hours painting. Eventually I would spend so much time and money that I quit. I just bought this one for fun and to help me as reference with a 3D project I'm making, so I just snapped it together and put it on my desk. No regrets, looks awesome even without any extra work, I can play with it and pose it without any worries. BTW remember that this is a HG, it's not nearly as detailed as a RG or MG but it still looks nice and it's a lot cheaper. 9/10

Misleading product title.
Let me preface this review by saying that this is the second model kit for a gundam I have ever recieved. For under 30$, I'd say it's worth it if you're into that sorta thing, and, frankly, it's a pretty cool gundam. But it being a model kit is kinda the problem. I ordered it because it said it said it was an "action figure", not a model kit. I guess I'm partially at fault for not thoroughly researching the product, but still.

Nice Model
My son loves these! Nice quality, snap together model that isn't hard to assemble (about an hour for my 14 year old son) This one actually had more parts than the previous ones he's built. Instructions are in Japanese but are illustrated well enough to not need them.

Astaroth Review with Barbatos Lupus Bonus review
I got this HG after i got my first gunpla, the HG Barbatos Lupus, and i prefer the Astaroth over Barbatos. This figure is a lot more solid and significantly more easy to stand than my Barbatos. Then, my barbatos also has a loose torso pin(or whatever you’d call it) so i had trouble. So in conclusion, get Astaroth, he has a big sword and more props.

Très bon gunpla pour le prix. Manque juste peut être quelques armes mais je chipote. Un bon HG pour débuter dans la maquette.

Muy buen producto, el material es bueno y el acabado resulto ser bastante robusto de lo esperado. Una compra recomendada.

It's cool but, some parts are a bit loose like the torso.
