They are very sheer so your curtain rod will show thru.
I absolutely love these valances I got for my bathroom! They are very sheer though so my curtain rod shows thru. It is white, as are my curtains, so not a huge deal. I would like it better if they were a bit denser so the rod isn't the first thing you see. I ignore it because I totally love the little shells hanging at the bottom. Perfect look for my beachy bathroom!
