I purchased this specific one because it stated “Apple MFi Certified”… what I received however is not MFi certified (the only thing certified about it is the “i” is missing!! The item in the Photo May Have been a good device, but that IS NOT what I received !! What I received looks like (and likely is) the 7cent version that is empty inside and does absolutely nothing… I even tested whether any voltage was going through it and what I found is Voltage SHORTING TO GROUND !!! IF I had not connected it to a Very High Quality Power Supply that alerted me to a short, it could have damaged the power supply and even the iPad it was meant for. This is Absolute Garbage !! The vendor should be required to provide the Apple MFi Certificate, and IF the Apple MFi Certificate for this product being advertised as such, it is Bait and Switch!! Selling this garbage as an Apple MFi Certified product is Fraud, no matter how you look at it. Now, is it possible that I was shipped the Wrong Item By Mistake? Sure, it’s possible, as this item is “similar”, but is simply NOT what was purchased !
