Fantastic Service
I inserted these cartridges and they worked great. Good print quality. I was very pleased. Then I got a message that the printer had a firmware update. I applied the update, and the cartridges stopped working. (I learned that Epson does this simply to prevent your using other ink cartridges - not to improve performance.) I called Smart Ink, explained the problem, and they gave me expedited shipping on new cartridges at no charge. That is outstanding customer service, along with good cartridges.

Great customer service Ory!
I had an issue with the chip set in my 812xl order. Kevin said he'd send replacement ASAP - unfortunately the incorrect ink. Ory indicated she'd be moire than happy to sent a replacement, but I'd have to be patient for a couple of days, in order to get the correct chip set. I got the new ink, all is well. This took total time of less than 2 weeks. Yes there was a problem, but never was I made to feel it was my problem. Ory stepped up, and took care of business. Customer for life! JDF III

Originally, three of the four cartridges installed correctly, the yellow would not. After many attempts the yellow was finally recognized, but the blue was leaking onto the cartridge itself. I needed to print and they were working so I used them since it was not leaking into the printer. Fast forward less than 20 pages printed and now NONE of the cartridges are recognized. They all have ink, but the yellow was not recognized again. The more I took it in and out the more the others stopped being recognized. Now I have blue fingers and a printer that has again been reduced to a very fancy paperweight. I have ordered a different set since they are not surprisingly no longer available leaving me with limited options to reclaim the money I have wasted.

Great ink, but don't update your printer's firmware
The ink is great, but make sure you don't upgrade the firmware on you printer. Printer companies update their firmware to exclude 3rd party ink. This happened to me and Smart Ink is sending me out a new updated set. their customer service is fantastic!

Fantastic Customer Service and a Great Product!
I am very impressed by SmartInk! Their ink cartridges are great. I recently had my Epson printer stop accepting the ink cartridges. I contacted SmartInk and when we could not troubleshoot the problem together, they sent me a new set of ink cartridges. Everything works great now. Thank you SmartInk! I am a very satisifed customer and will purchase from you again!

EPSON RUINED THIS PRODUCT
the product was working great then Eson did an update and none of my inkcartridges that were remanufactured would work. Only Epson brand cartridges work. Same thing HP did, encode the chips in the ink cartridge so you cannot reset them or refill them and the printer will not accept after market ink cartridges. I hate these greedy corporations, HP got sued and lost, I need an attorney to do a class action lawsuit on them for this. This is like selling you a car and saying you can only use a specific Gas Brand in your car so they have a monopoly on you filling your gas tank. You must use this brand or it won't work. mBefore they did this software update, these cartridges worked great and print was perfect as well as photos

Great customer service.
I had to return one of my ink cartridges because of a printer firmware update (and the cartridges stopped working). But I called customer service and they promptly sent me another cartridge in the mail. Works great. Awesome customer service.

printer updated and current ink cartridges stopped working.
Worked great until my printer updates itself. The printer gave me a message that "the cartridges were not recognized" even though I could feel they were 1/2 full still. I called customer service and they understood the issue immediately and sent me a new set. Something had to do with updated chips and within 3 days I was back up running at no additional cost. Very easy solution to a confusing situation!
