I got these to wear whilst rearranging large chest freezer in garage for xmas, perfect gloves. Thick, strong, waterproof and kept my hands so warm. Really pleased with them and will also use them for washing car. I ordered a large and was very happy with size.

Super gloves that kept my hands from the pain of frost while defrosting the freezer, they held out perfectly for an hour and then the warmth started to diminish, my hands didn't get cold just a matter of feeling the cold creeping through...so wearing them for more than an hour you might experience a change in comfort. That said I would buy more to use through the winter as protection for my hands when cleaning my donkey's hooves on a freezing cold morning. Hope this was helpful to someone. x

They are indeed very warm in the winter. The waterproof coating is very good as it doesn't let water through at all, but at the same time that means your hands will get soggy inside if sweating. They are quite thick, which offers some kind of protection if working in rough conditions. Grip is good, but because it has 2 layers of material sometimes it can slip inside especially if the glove is not a perfect fit to your hands. I've got large hands and I ordered the L, but the gloves are easily a size bigger than suggested. I bought them for metal detecting in the winter as it can get quite harsh when out for hours, but they're not really fit for this hobby. Honestly I don't see how someone can work with these gloves on, they are quite uncomfortable. Other than keeping your hands warm, they're no good for much else. Only 3 stars from me, given mainly for the quality of materials used, but don't really meet the intended functionality. If you're planning to use them in construction I would say they are actually a bit hazardous as it's quite easy for your hands to slip when carrying something heavy or using tools. For me it hasn't been easy to dig with my spade using these gloves.

They really kept my hands warm while I garden for hours in winter. No excuses for not doing outdoor works now. And good value for money. Would definitely buy again. However, don’t be expecting to do fiddly, delicate work as the fingers are quite fat. Ha!

Work well so far, hands kept warm and dry even in harsh conditions, easy to grip items and the gloves feel fairly durable.
