Q: is the sleep sack free of flame retardant?

The tag says 100% polyester and doesn't mention anything about flame retardant.

Q: How does one keep baby's hands warm during colder months?

Many pajamas for newborns will have sleeves with fold-over ends to keep their hands warm. I think we got our at Old Navy. This was the best option because I was worried about choking with removable mittens.

Q: Does this sleep sack convert to a swaddle as well? The information on the video seems a bit deceiving.

No, this sleep sack does not. Halo does make the type that converts. Look for Swaddle in the product name. I think the video is about all the different types they offer.

Q: My baby is 7 mo old & 16 lbs. Do you think the XL size will be to big? I'd rather not have to buy large now and XL a couple months later.

My daughter is 2 and a 1/2 years old, and she is 25 lbs. She has worn a medium since she could fit in it. A medium fits 16 to 24 lbs. I am just now going to buy a new bigger one, and I'm going to buy an XL because it fits 26 to 36 lbs. I was first going to assume I needed a large but it only fits 22 to 28 lbs, so why not buy the XL that fits 26 to 36 lbs where she can wear it longer, right? Right. The only difference between switching from a medium to an XL is 1 lb! So the large size can be completely skipped over. :)
