Well researched with a lot of sources. Pictures, maps and charts help supplement the vast amount of information here. For anyone looking to study the Bible and don’t know Greek or Hebrew (and even if you do) this is an essential tool for understanding the world in which the Bible was written. Knowing who it was written to, in what circumstances and where these events took place has given me a greater sense of what I study. Well worth it.

This book has very useful illustrations of archeological artifacts, ancient manuscripts, diagrams, and maps that bring scripture to life in an interesting way. It is a very valuable addition to any library.

I wish I had this a long time ago!! I read a chapter out of it then read my Bible so I understand the context of what I’m reading! It has pictures of maps and artifacts! Worth the money!
