No, really. You can cut off the tail if you're freaked out by them. Of course, be careful, not to cut too far into the gelcap. It's a very cute marketing gimmick, I can't even imagine how much it must have cost to have a very different looking gelcap on the market. But it definitely creates a buzz. I've been taking probiotics for almost a year now, discovering different strains and how they work, and how they work in concert with each other and my body. One overall benefit is my tummy that I thought was just fat, isn't. It's gone down. While I'm definitely overweight, my tummy is now flatter than it ever has been. My pants fit better, and looser....I've also lost weight, 25 pounds in that timeframe, maybe 1-ish pound a week, and I've not changed much exercise wise. I do eat more greens, complex salads, trying out those dinner boxes (they are currently cheaper than the grocery store!) I don't have gas, I don't have digestive issues. I would say they've been beneficial to my regimen of health. These are the last type of probiotics I've tried, and honestly, they aren't bad for what they propose to be. They kept my tummy flat, the bowels working well, and generally being just right. I would have no problems recommending them to anyone, the price point is very nice for the number of servings you're getting, and 30+ strains is not common. You are absolutely getting what you pay for which this product. For the last month though, I've not felt as quite a good effect, and I wonder, is 75 servings too much *not* to be refrigerated? To be fair, December was probably the most stressful month of hardship and grief, and a lot of physical issues arose because of that stress. So that's maybe why they didn't work as well. Or, they kept working, and I could have been worse off (though I don't see how, lol). I will more than likely keep these in my rotation, will definitely refrigerate them, and keep the tails on, lol.

If you care enough to research it you'll know that the more strains the better as well as a high CFU rate and this item is about the best product for the money. They're funny little fish shaped gel capsules that go down easily. I'm satisfied.

These guys were really fast. I was taking a heavy antibiotic and was told I may have to replace bacteria in my stomach as the antibiotics would likely kill it. These probiotics worked so well that I actually was very hungry even though I was sick. It was a huge change form how I was.

This is a really great product. The only problem I have is that the capsules stick together in the bottle, even after a good shaking. I’ve started to add about 1.5 grams of corn starch when I open each new bottle. A quick shake solves the problem. Surely, something similar could be done in your bottling process, or the addition of a silica-gel packet might provide a comparable solution.

For some reason, this company puts its probiotics in sticky, plasticized, (goofy) goldfish cracker shaped capsules that melt together in summer heat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY if this bottle will encounter warm temperatures in transit. When my bottle arrived, my bottle was bulging so much it wobbled around like a weeble. Sadly, when I opened this bottle, I was shocked to see a sticky saffron orange mess of plasticized goldfish-looking capsules. I thought the heat caused each of the pills to have a blowout on the end with the tail! A company wouldn't design probiotic capsules for adults in the shape of goldfish with materials that honestly don't look safe to swallow, would it?! After realizing the shape was the company's intent and that there are many other similarly situated out-of-luck customers, I concluded this company must do better and stand behind its product or change its capsule - because there is a problem. I DON"T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE THE COMPANY DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THE ITEM AND THERE ARE DEFINITE ISSUES WITH THE ITEM WHEN EXPOSED TO WARM TEMPERATURES.
