The quest for more
Top Bottom Switch by Chelle Bliss is a standalone erotic novella that is set in the world of 'The Club', a shared universe where a variety of authors have each written their own standalone novellas. In Chelle's story, we have Ret North, a Dominant, well known among the patrons of The Club, who has started to lose interest. Lately, and rather disconcertingly, regardless who he acts out a scene with, it just isn't doing it for him the way it used to.Alese Kane is what's known as a 'switch'. Having joined The Club to explore her submissive streak, she finds herself struggling to truly let go with any of the partners that she's chosen so instead has tried to learn to become a Dom to see if that's where her true nature lies, but perhaps even more so, seems unable to fully immerse herself into that role either. After a rather nasty encounter and a public confrontation, Alese is just about prepared to walk away from the whole thing, beginning to doubt that she'll ever find the perfect niche where she fits in with her particular kink.Ret on the other hand is quite sure that all she needs to fully embrace her own submissive nature is the right Master, and he's just elected himself for the job. What follows is more than just a series of steamy sequences where these two burn up the pages, though it certainly is that. Hidden beneath however, is a very human story of two people building the trust needed for them to be able to explore the kind of relationship that both secretly desire. A relationship that isn't just about acting out taboo fantasies with a stranger, but about respect acceptance, understanding and possibly even love.I loved how Chelle built the tension between these two, yet balanced that with the underlying desire that each had for the possibility of finding something more than either had ever experienced before

A super sexy book that will leave you breathless for more...
***I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!***This was a very quick read for me, yet it hit all of the right buttons. I'm never surprised that I love a book by this author, but I was a little intrigued to see where she would go with this story. I'm not used to reading novellas by her that introduce entirely new characters that we have absolutely no back story for.I really enjoyed this story. Was it super sexy? Yes. Was it completely different from anything else the author has written? Yes. Although we have seen some BDSM elements and glimpses from the Gallo crew in the past, this was a whole new world for us. I wasn't sure if this story would feel rushed when I saw the page count, but it was perfectly paced. It wasn't a straight to sex kind of story with no gradual development to the relationship. Instead, it had all of my favorite elements. A smoking hot alpha male who can turn your insides to liquid with just one glance, a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man to be happy. While BDSM has elements of control and dominance, it's not all about being lead around by a leash like many may believe. It's something far more complicated and fulfilling to those in the lifestyle. While this book is set in that genre, the part I enjoyed the most was when the characters found that connection that we are all searching for-someone who complements your wants and needs. Someone who you can trust with your heart and soul, and ultimately your life, that is able to enhance the weaknesses and vulnerabilities inside of you while allowing you to grow and flourish.Ret and Alese were a perfect match. Alese was finally able to find someone who could give her everything she needed and more, and Ret was able to find that scared and lonely part of Alese and help her become stronger and more self-confident.The only thing I wished were different was the length of the story. I simply wanted more. Will we get more of them in the future? I certainly hope so. This was another amazing story that was well developed and put forth. I highly recommend it!

Good Read
Ret was getting tired of the submissive at the club they would do everything he wanted but without a spark though he could push them to their limits. Next thing he sees the switch Alese arguing with a man and spits in his face. Preston the owner steps in and tell security to hold him and he let Alese go. Ret was always surprised by her even though a switch is not his thing Alese was something else. Ret after seeing her play thought she was a submissive but hasn't known the right Dom. Ret is starting to think as her is getting older he wants a lover and partner to compliment each other. Ret and Alese sat down to have a drink and conversation. She asked him was he wasn't with anyone or were the rumors true. He asked her the same thing and asked why she thought she was a switch? He tells her he will play after they get to know each other first and build the trust. He takes her home and meanwhile tells her to take a bath she immediately tells him she is not a bath girl but he tells her to take a bath. The next morning there is a couple of texts from Ret telling her to wear a certain toy until she sees him tonight at the club. They go to the club and he promises how good she will feel without him touching her. After their scene he asks if she would like to meet up again. Alese couldn't believe her luck she had been dreaming about with Ret and him being her master. Ret meets her at the club and tonight when she begs him he will make her his. This does end in a quasi cliffhanger to read more about the character there is another book

Pure Bliss!!!
In a market flooded with wannabe authors offering books from the weird to the wonderful, readers are occasionally treated to stories which take them far away from the humdrum of everyday life. For me, Chelle Bliss is an author whose writing embraces me like a comfort blanket and helps me to find that ultimate escape into a fantasy-land unlike no other. In Top Bottom Switch, Chelle’s storytelling took me into a world which challenges the norm. For me, kinky stories that embrace the BDSM lifestyle are approached cautiously rather than emphatically and, unless I find comfort in the characters, I can often find myself finding displeasure at the expense of the characters’ pleasure. I need a Dom and their Sub to work together in harmony rather than in a tentative and uncomfortable manner but thankfully, Ret and Alese were a match destined to be bound together. Ret was smooth in his dominance and despite his fierce reputation, he handles the damaged Alese sensitively and helps her to find what she has unknowingly been looking for.I will never be a self-professed expert in all things BDSM so I can't comment on the authenticity the scenes and Club Life but what I found was an entertaining story which spanked the reticence out of me whilst Ret sets about making Alese his. Their connection was most assuredly felt throughout the story as readers follow them on a journey of self-exploration and a testing of boundaries. Despite how Ret and Alese’s story commences, it is quickly apparent that this is a love story; just one borne from a less conventional lifestyle. Ret was strong but tender and Alese was more than receptive to his demands, administrations and kinky challenges. The only problem with this book, and it was a big problem for me….. it was just too short. I knew it was only a novella but having connected and started to love the characters, I was really disappointed when their story jumped to the epilogue. Readers are offered the chance to vote at the end of the book for more from Ret, Alese and The Club so another instalment could certainly be on the cards. (Fingers crossed!!!)This book took Chelle’s storytelling into a more sexually oriented direction but she more than rose to the challenge in Top Bottom Switch. I found the story fascinating, but not titillating, and the kink was balanced out by a simple but yet strong storyline. You certainly get a lot of bang for your buck in this story!

Well I guess aught to have checked the word count before I started because this is super short! It is also advertised as a standalone book but it must be part of a series of books written by different people under the heading The Club.I am really struggling to write this review because I wasn't a massive fan of the book. It is obviously part of a series, despite being advertised as a stand alone. The story felt a bit obvious and there didn't feel to be a great deal of story to it.This was, however, an amazing sex scene! The entire book is just one long, hot, sex scene. He's hot, she's hot, it works but I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting more, particularly as I really enjoyed Chelle's writing in other books.

Chelle Bliss is a new to me author but after reading this novella I will definitely be looking in to her other books especially Guilty Sin as I need more of their story.I absolutely loved this novella and I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.The words just sucked me in and swept me away into a blissful daze.I really enjoyed reading this novella and I hope you all will do as much as I did.

Top Bottom Switch (The Club)
Ret is an experienced Dom, Alese is a sexy lady who's not sure wether she wants to a submissive or a Dom.After a turbulent encounter Alese feels a little frightened, Ret is concerned about her and after a chance meeting her in The Club just as he was about to leave, they sit and talk and over a short period they've came to realise something has changed....

Quick hot read
Another great book by this author. As always a hot sexy read wrote around the BDSM lifestyle and while I don't profess to know the rules of this lifestyle the book had a interesting story. I absolutely love anything wrote by this author as she keeps the readers attention from the first page to the very last. Five stars from me for a quick hot read.
