Premetto che avevo un router Netgear r6400 che purtroppo dopo un anno ha iniziato ad avere problemi di wi-fi e surriscaldamento. Amazon ha provveduto al reso con relativo rimborso.Ho deciso di comprare il Netgear r8500 per le mie esigenze in quanto mi serviva più copertura e stabilità Wi-Fi. Posso dire che questo router rispecchia in tutto le caratteristiche del produttore e confermo che i prodotti Netgear sono il top. Spedizione arrivata prima del previsto.Aggiornamento 2 febbraio 2018.Purtroppo mi sono dovuto ricredere sulla mia recensione.Intanto la copertura della connessione wiifi non e' cambiata molto rispetto al mio vecchio netgear r6400. Sinceramente avevo acquistato questo top gamma per non avere in giro per casa (casa mia e' 115m quadrati) altri extender ma purtoppo mi ritrovo a metterne almeno uno altrimenti ho zone morte. In generale credo che netgear stia perdendo un po di colpi. Con quello che costa questo prodotto dovrebbe garantire almeno una connessione terra saturno. Molto deluso tanto da pensare al reso.Aggiornamento del 25 agosto 2018Deluso al massimo. Disconnessioni continue e surriscaldamento pazzesco. Contatterò Amazon per chiedere assistenza sul prodotto.Sconsigliato l acquisto.

Alright this review is going to be little long, pls spare to read full review about my experiences with router.First i received router that was very problematic, it went into reboot mode after couple of hours of installation. After speaking to customer support they told that router was 2016 manufactured one.Make sure to check the manufacturing before opening package, coz 2016 & '17 routers r buggy and return them.Now coming to this router, i got this router for 13.5K after applying all deals, which is super discounted price. Package was delivered on time though it did not had outside package, router is received in perfect condition.Router is bulky and will be like mini size laptop. It has got 4 active antennas and comes with indian adapter. I have 100 MBPS act internet connection and this router squeezes full 100MBPS speed in both 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz speeds. At any point of time minimum 5-7 devices include 2 49 inch smart TVs will be connected to router and all devices work seamlessly without any lag in 4K streaming.If you house is loaded with Ton of devices then go for this router otherwise at this price point there is no meaning in purchasing it.This router does not have Gaming router features so if you are a hardcore gamer then this is not choice.Otherwise i recommend to go for the router without any second thought.Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions and if you like my review please give it a thumbps up.

Wir haben uns den Router bestellt, da in der Wohnung das WLAN-Signal sehr schwach war und das vom Provider angebotene Gerät auch nicht (mehr) den neuesten WLAN-Standard beherrscht. Da wir viele Smart-Home-Geräte haben, war es mir wichtig, zwei bzw. drei Bänder zu haben, damit ich für alle IoT-Geräte ein eigenes 2,4 GHz-Netz erstellen kann, die anderen Geräte (Smartphones, PCs), bei denen der Datendurchsatz höher sein soll, jedoch noch ein eigenes 5 GHz (bzw. nun 5 GHz sowie 2,4 GHz) - Band zur Verfügung haben, das nicht durch die anderen Geräte blockiert wird. Hier tut das Ding tatsächlich super seinen Zweck und verschiebt die WLAN-Geräte automatisch in die korrekten WLANs. Leider unterstützt dieser Router nur sehr bedingt IPv6 (Firewall an (nicht ausschaltbar) = alle eingehenden IPv6-Verbindungen werden blockiert; keine Möglichkeit, einzelne Geräte freizuschalten). Für ein Gerät mit diesem Preis absolut lächerlich!!! Auch das WLAN-Signal ist bei weitem nicht so stark, wie wir vermutet hätten... Leider.Deutlich besser wird das Gerät, wenn man dd-wrt installiert; plötzlich eröffnen sich komplett neue Möglichkeiten der Einstellungen. Enterprise Authentication beim Wifi, die Möglichkeit, mehrere WLANs zu erstellen mit unterschiedlichen Subnetzen (nicht nur ein Gastnetz, welches isoliert wird) sowie eine feingliedrige Einstellung der Firewall. Schade, dass man hier Drittanbietersoftware einsetzen muss.

J’ai décidé d’acquérir ce routeur suite à l’installation de la fibre à la maison. je voulais m’assurer que le wifi ne soit pas une limite à l’utilisation de la bande passante de la fibre, en autre pour l’utilisation de jeu FPS sur PC portable ou pour du streaming. Le résultat est incomparable avec le wifi de ma box (Free), même en wifi, Netflix, youtube et twitch sont instantanés et la latence est très faible sur les jeux. les outils de gestion sont complets et faciles à mettre en place. Rien à redire le produit est top.

Für den Router hatte ich mich wegen dem WLAN Signal entschieden.Das ist mit 580 MBit hinter einer 25 meter entfernten Mauer stabil und gut erreichbar.Seit 2 Tagen leider ständiger Reboot, obwohl die Konfiguration nicht verändert wurde.Die POWER LED bleibt trotz Reset Taste Rot. Router bootet ständig neu.Sehr frustrierend , da seit 2 Tagen kein Zugriff auf das beruflich angewiesene Internet.Hier muss ein Hardware Defekt vorliegen.So ist der Router nicht brauchbar und geht in der Garantiezeit wieder zurück.
