Touchscreen with passive stylus SigLite 1x5 LCD is Topaz's low-cost pressure-sensitive electronic signature capture pad. SigLite features all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem LCD tablet but with a low-cost touchpad and stylus in place of the more rugged digitizing pen and inert tempered glass surface of the SigGem tablet series. Review: Backlight is a welcome addition. - Welcome upgrade over the non-backlit version. Customers expressed appreciation over new being able to see what they were signing. Worked right off the bat as a replcament for the non-backlit version with no additional configuration or setup. Review: Doesn't have the display options pictured, but works nonetheless - It's just a blank screen, no option to select cancel, clear, or done. But works great for what we needed.

The ability to view the signature with a backlight included is worth the extra money
I have deployed these in many offices and also deployed lesser versions of this product. I routinely have complaints about the signature pads that do not show the signer their signature as they sign. I have never had a complaint about these pads.
