Above Ground Swimming Pools 3.5'X5' Step Ladder Pad Protects Liner Rigid Vinyl

We bought the mat because our stairs rubbed a hole in our liner. The mat is thicker than I had expected it to be. Has help up nicely since we put it in in June and haven't had any issues with more holes in our liner.

Looks similar to the one we had to throw out after leaving it in the pool over the winter. We had that one for 7 seasons. Just wash it with detergent, rinse, dray and store inside for the winter. Keeps the pool steps from rubbing the liner and causing holes. I do find the (Kreepy Krauly) Pool Cleaner can get caught up on it, so I don't leave it unattended for too long.

This pad is not rigid, nor is it padded to to be much cushion, if any, underneath the weight of the ladder. It’s not heavy enough to stay lying down. I inadvertently sucked it out from under the ladder when vacuuming. Flimsy for the price. Does not look as pictured.
