Portmeirion Sophie Conran White Salt and Pepper Set

These Sophie Conran salt and pepper shakers are very attractive and look great on my table. They are well made and arrived in perfect shape. They are in a very nice box that would be useful for gift giving. They are an off white colour, not bright white, which is exactly what I wanted.

Love these salt and pepper shakers. They look great.

I’m in love with this Portmeirion Sophie collection! I have really light blue handmade porcelain dishes by Pangu, and the artful handmade look of this all white line go beautifully together without being too matchy. These salt and pepper shakers are a standard size for a table setting. I read reviews that stated they were small, but they most definitely are not. Shakers for dinner tables shouldn’t take up a lot of table space. These are perfect.

I hadn’t put much thought into salt and pepper shakers prior to now, but my partner loves her dishes (Sofia… Sonia? I can’t recall the brand name, and I would have to back out of writing this review to double check), so when her salt shaker broke, a part of her broke with it. Fortunately, they’re popular enough that they’re still widely available, so here I am reviewing the shaker. I guess if I was going to remove a star, I would point out that they’re not very durable, but don’t drop them on the stone floor, and you should be grand.
