KEEN Men's Targhee 3 WaterproofHiking Shoe

I have done a couple of 5 milers just to test these in the first week and have found them very comfortable yet solid and supportive. The trouble with buying wide fit is this you often find one is fine and the other is still a little tight or loose depending on how you order ( next size up or down ). With these I find both shoes feel " fitted " and I look forward to more challenging walks in the future. I think the key to it is the wide toe which allows you to order the correct size for your foot length as the toe is square and thus has plenty of width. Works for me. I think they look good too.

Very good for people who need wide fitting

I am a long- time Keen fan; they are great walking shoes as I find them very comfortable and hard wearing. I ordered these to replace my old (many years old) Keens, but was very disappointed to find that what is shipped is the WIDE version of the shoe. As Keens tend to be on the wider side anyway, this made them too big for comfort, so I had to return them and purchase a non- wide pair of the same size and style in a different Amazon/ Keen product entry. So just beware if you order this particular version you will receive a WIDE pair. Amazon (or Keen?) should make it very clear in the ordering process that this is what will be received. The only reference that I can see to them being a wide size is the one 'wide' word in the photo/ blurb section. Not obvious at all. It is not stated in the size and ordering process.

Very rugged, and comfortable trek shoes. Second pair. Great for wider feet (in the wider version). First pair lasted a year of daily use, then sole delaminated.

Wide toe box makes these shoes very good for long hikes.

This is the 3rd pair of these shoes i have had and the worst ones .they are supposed to be a size 10 wide but they seem tighter than previous ones wich were normal fit size 91/2 to late to return them as i have worn them on a walk.Will not buy Keen shoes again,quality also looks to have gone down.

Nice wide fit . I actually asked one of the AI bots foir recommendations for a wide waterproof walking shoe as although i wear merrells in the summer i find their waterproof ones uncomfortable and i have wide feet , after a few extra questions for AI these were the only ones that were sub £100 with good reviews , nopty disappointed !

After 7 months of use water was leaking in, now I replaced by same new one, otherwise it is a good shoe...

Fits well, comfortable for all day wear, waterproof, good traction.

What I like about the shoe: it feels sturdy, well made, and it is comfortable. It fit me well once the ankle cushion was broken in. I also like that the shoe is 100% leather. What I don't like: fake discounts. The shoe is advertised at 35% off, or $100. I think the pricing point is within the range of similar walking shoes, so it has hard for me to know whether this is a genuine discount or not. There is another Keen shoe 'Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoe' which is made of textile & synthetic material which sells for $64, so $100 for an all leather model is not unreasonable. $155 seems high ($100 after 35% off), so it makes me question whether the discount is real. If I remember, I will update this review in a year or two with comments about durability.

Top, super bequemer Schuh

Based on previous experience I ordered a pair of 47.5 wide, but I was sent a pair of 48.5 wide. In the first minutes I was determined to return them. But after putting them on and trying them on I realized that this is actually the size I needed! I walked more than 1000 km with the old pair and they were still good. Excellent!
