Sonia Professional Backdrop for Photography Background Stand Black Screen for Photo Light Studio Accurate 8x12 Ft for Chromakey Video Editing

Bought it in June for myself, it was excellent. Then my brother bought it for me last week, it was good. Since we couldnt order 2-3 at a time, had asked one of my friend to order it, Sonia showed its color. Sent a duplicate one with the cheapest build. DONT DO THIS TO CUSTOMERS. We lose trust in you.

Got it for 1980 Rs. The item was delivered in 4 days time with Prime. For the cost of 1980 rs, its a value for money product. I have used it for photography backdrop cloth and has not used it for light. And so this review is based on the experience with the photography cloth.=> Total number of pieces in the stand is 5. The left and right side stand and 3 interconnectable rods to hang the cloth.=> The maximum width after connecting all the rods is 9 feet. If you dont need 9 feet then you can connect just 2 rods and leave the third one and the width will be 6 feet. '=> The height came around 8.5 to 9 feet.=> It also has a bag and you can dismandle all the pieces and put in this bag and carry.=> There was no rust or any dirt and it was looking very neat.

It's width is bigger than shown in the picture. The width was so big that it was difficult to use it in my room. Durability is really good. Easy installation, easy to carrry & size as expected. Happy with this purchase. Don't worry about the brand name, it's Indian and trusted one.

Bought this stand to set up background for my 2 year old daughters birthday celebration at home. The stand is of great quality, it's sturdy, easy to assemble and dismantle. The adjustable height options makes it a perfect set for any ocassion, be that be background for photography or parties. It came in a black zip bag with back strap which makes it easy to carry. It hardly takes 10 minutes to set it up. I recommend this product.

Best at the price, one needs a sturdy background holder just to make sure it is placed appropriately. This one does the job for you, good built quality, not at all light weight, but, if you need a built that can take care just like a wall. A must buy for home / photography backgrounds....Highly recommended

I have given 5 stars for the cost they are offering for this stand. This is the perfect cost for the product they have introduced.If we speak about the build and quality, then it attracts 4 stars. It's light weight and easy to carry. The quick release locks are good. The material seems to be powder coated thin iron pipes. The leg support stripes are very weak but ok since they are fitted in double. At the height of 9 feet the stand can't be sturdy or can't bare heavy weight. I am doubtful whether it can handle a strobe light along with the softbox at the height of 9 feet.They have placed springs in the pipes for cushioning purpose and soft landing. It doesn't have air cushioning. But at the cost of Rs. 800 it is fine to have suspension like this. I own similar kind of stand with air suspension and a bit heavy quality, but it costs almost double than this one.Overall the product is value for money product. I liked it. Go for it.....

The stand is not made of aluminum but MS. Hence it would rust with time because the paint coat is so thin that it showed rust at many places as soon as I opened the package. Packing was very poor. They should have tied the spares together and covered in corrugated sheets so that the stands and rods stay at one place. Due to movement and sharp edges the stand hinge had torn the bad, which is of very poor quality. I am going to ask for a new bag as the delivered one is torn. About rust, it cannot be avoided, may be I have to return the stand or I may have to get it spray painted at extra cost.I am disappointed because I have been using the Sonia brand photography products products for last 35 years. I ordered this product with the same confidence, but this time I am not happy with their product. May be other brands are better than Sonia brand.I will update here as soon as I get a resolution against this defective product.The stand is sturdy and if the paint quality had been good and the bag of better quality, this would have been the best product, but the company has tried to save a meager amount at the cost of the quality. This may spoil their name.UPDATE:During my visit to Delhi, I contacted the company again to replace the torn bag as they had failed to replace earlier. The seller sent me a new bag to my Delhi address. Thanks to their gesture.It has been a month that I am using this unit and am satisfied with the truely Indian product. It is sturdy and good.
