Fabulous customer service!
Great product with even better customer service! We bought these for our kids for Christmas to use hooked up to our desktop computer. The fun designs were obviously a hit. The pictures seem to be actually part of the controller, not just cheap stickers or something. They connected fairly easily to our computer and the buttons seem pretty decent quality. The cords are nice and long; including our 4' USB extender they reach out couch perfectly to be able to lounge back and play comfortably. I love that the cords disconnect from the controller so if one gets run into by a toddler the cord just comes out instead of ripping. Now, customer service! Wow! We had one controller that, after a few months, started having a problem with one of the keys sticking (no dust or grime that we could see and they always make sure they have clean hands before playing). I emailed customer support to see if there was anything we could do, and after asking for a picture of the front and back, along with our order number, they sent out a new controller free of charge!

My favorite wired controller! Wish it was available in wireless but then it probably would lose the light weight I also love. The controllers thumb pads are plastic and don’t have that rubbery silicone you find on most controllers that eventually rubs off and causes your grip to slip after hours of use. You can make it different colors depending on mood too!

Small hands beware but still good purchase
I love Kirby so I got this controller. I like that it has the buttons in the back and that the wire is long enough I can sit a distance from my tv and play. It is a lightweight controller and has a matte feel to it, not glossy. I will say too that it can feel slightly bulky if you have small hands but you adjust to it. Otherwise I haven’t had any sort of issues or concerns with it!

My new de facto controller
I've had the original pro-controller almost since launch but always looked for a cheaper option for a day-to-day use. About 2-3 years ago I found this Zelda themed PowerA wired controller and decided to give it a try and, save for very few instances, it has been my main controller. That is until the left joystick started to show some drifting 😕 (I'll probably keep it to see if I can salvage it with some hall effect joysticks later). Enter the new kid on the block: same brand, more robust feel and less than half the price of the pro-controller; sign me up.Comparing all 3 side by side, the old wired controller did feel a bit too light and plasticky when compared to the pro-controller, this new one feels more robust (akin to the pro-controller) while also being more comfortable for my adult-sized hands than the pro-controller. I also just noticed the texturing on the joysticks (see the pictures), not sure how I feel about that but the new ones do seem to provide a better grip. The joysticks also glide very smoothly and all the buttons have a very robust feel to them. For further comparison:-Pros:*Mappable buttons (really useful)*Headphone jack (I don't live alone and find this very useful)*LEDs (never had a problem finding the buttons, but it DOES look cool)*Still cost effective-Cons:*No gyro (not many games that I own use it anyway)*No amiibo (again, not essential)*No rumble (don't care)*Does not wake up the system (ok, this one would have been nice)Honestly, I only switch back to the pro-controller when playing Zelda BotW or TotK (when the first 2 cons come into play). I also noticed that the new cable has a locking mechanism on the plug to the controller, not sure I like that and will be using the old cable. On the event of something tugging on the cable I'd rather have the cable disconnect (easier on the controller given the angles) than pull on the Switch and throw it to the ground (yes, this has happened, and hence why I added the wire holder next to console and why I'll use the old cable). All in all, a very good controller for it's initial play session and, as I entitled this review, this will be my de facto controller unless I need to use an amiibo or the game experience is significantly better with gyro controls.

Super cute, bad controller (imo not worth the price tag)
Looks super cute, but its buttons are comically stiff, I tried playing smash bros with it and it hurts to use. I tried sliding my finger across the X and A button like you do on that game, in less than 10 minutes I noticed my thumb hurting and beginning to blister. Also the plastic used for the controllers she’ll is very uncomfortable with no texturing to make it feels good or grip well (even on the back where the palms wrap around it).5/5 looks, 2/5 practically speaking. I give it a 3/5 cause I think if you’re going to be playing animal crossing or something else that doesn’t require a good controller then you might not mind the incredibly stiff controls. You can get a better feeling controller for much less if you intend to use it for games that require dexterity. (Though this is an incredibly cute looking decoration I suppose)
