I originally purchased an off-brand filter pack of 6 and got really poor results! Here’s my thoughts on the off brand and then the Bestway brand.Pros of the off-brand:*fit perfectly on my Bestway Coleman Saluspa*inexpensive per filterCons of the off-brand:*had to change them almost every 2 days, which totally negated the inexpensive price.*constantly errored out the pump even after rinsing as per seller instructions*plastic housing is rather flimsy compared to the Bestway filterI have gone back to the branded filter. The Bestway filter has been in my spa now going on TWO WEEKS, without even having to rinse or clean it, no pump errors. In the long run the branded filters are actually cheaper than the off-brand.Stick with the Bestway filters, you won’t regret it!

Perfect for my Bestway spa. Tried a generic and it didn’t fit well. These have been great. Simple to use. Inexpensive. I change it out each month and it does the job well.

The media could not be loaded. Really great product is lasting like it said it would. I would definitely recommend it is a great value for your money. It fits perfectly in this size a 2 to 4 person hot tub. Its performance value is good. I wouldn’t say great. Consider not expected it the last month. Anticipated only to last another week so I definitely suggest buying the four pack, but it is definitely worth its money :-) great product. I would definitely give it a 4.5 if I could :-)

Great filters. They do the job. The more you use your hot tub the more often you’ll need to change the filter. I give it a little rinse every Friday.

Using on the Saluspa model by Bestway. Fitment good. Functionality is perfect. Easy to use. Rinse thoroughly every other day and swap out with a rinsed one while letting the newly cleaned one dry, then rinse it again before swapping it back in. Have been keeping three in rotation with daily usage since 102024. Two folks using the spa approximately daily. Limited degradation and filtration remains adequate. Value could be better.

I shopped around for replacement filters for my Coleman / Beltway portable hot tub because the price seemed a little high for the OEM product. Although I found lots of product for less (up to 15-20% less per filter), reading the reviews of those other filters convinced me to stick with the original.First of all, every one of the alternative filters is visibly less material (seen as fewer folds of fabric) than the OEM filter. Some also were obviously thinner filter material. Many of the competitive products had complaints about the filters failing after just a few days. Others bragged about improved flow in the hot tub water circulator with the non-OEM filter. The problem is - if the filter is letting the water pass through, then it's not filtering the water. You can get great flow by removing the filter completely, but that will eventually clog your system with loose hairs, debris, and mineral deposits. Give me a filter that reduces the flow, please.The other great thing about this filter is that you can clean it repeatedly (per manufacturer's instructions) and use it for weeks (longer than the manufacturer promises). I get at least a month of use out of each filter, cleaning it every 2 - 3 days with no issue.That kind of durability and superior filtering ability is definitely worth an extra $1 per filter, because I estimate I'm using it 3x longer than one of the cheaper filters.

It's been a year and a half since I started using Salspa. The standard ones are a bit expensive, so I tried several different filters from other companies. After trying it out, I went back to this product that was included with the spa when I purchased it. It worked really well. I use the spa every day and change the filter while soaking in the spa. Since it comes in a set of 2, you will be using them alternately every day. This way, each will last about 3 months. It's about time you start to feel like it's time to replace the filter. Cleaning the filter is also easy. Just fill a bucket with water and give the filter a quick shake. Even after using this product for 3 months, the paper part of the filter remains taut without twisting. This is my first time writing a review, hoping it will be helpful to everyone.
