Real wood, not covered with oil and called apple or maple or pecan or hickory. I've used Bradleys with excellent results on ribs, salmon, chicken, etc. Quality is excellent and they burn consistently. **Q: Do these burn a flame of too hot like chips or wood chunks?** A: No they don't. They need an ignition source such as a hot plate, like the Bradley smoker uses. **Q: Can these be used in other smokers? In place of the normal wood chunks?** A: They can but they will cook away much more quickly than a wood chunk. About the same a wood chips I would think. I did like the smoke flavor that was added. **Q: What chemicals are used to bond the pucks?** A: The pucks are not bonded solidly - drop one and it turns to small fragments and dust. I think they may be bonded by damp sawdust being compressed in a mold. Contact Bradley directly as they will likely answer your question. Good service people in my experience. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ OK *by G***O on 11 April 2020* Un po costoso ma buono ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great taste to food *by T***Y on 11 June 2023* Love the taste the smoke puts to the food ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great smell, great flavor! *by J***. on 10 March 2014* Not chips, not cheap, but... absolutely great! Indeed these bisquettes, which cost as much as 6-8x a regular pack of wooden smoking chips are well worth the difference: Not only weight and total smoking duration are far larger, as the smell and the flavor they produce are outstanding. Great quality, very happy with my purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bradley Smoker Bisquettes For Grilling and BBQ, Apple Special Blend, 48 Pack - Bradley Smoker Bisquettes BTHC48 For Grilling and BBQ, Hickory, 48 Pack - Bradley Smoker BTCH24 Smoker-BTCH24, 24 Count (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/299848883-bradley-smoker-btap48-apple-bisquettes-48-pack](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/299848883-bradley-smoker-btap48-apple-bisquettes-48-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
