The Legend of Dave the Villager Books 1–5 Illustrated: a collection of unofficial Minecraft books (Dave the Villager Collections)

My 8 year old was getting fed up of reading. Since we’ve found these books he doesn’t want to put them down! Is he now up to books 20-25 (4th book) and shows no sign of stopping!

My son absolutely loved reading this book at bedtime, I also enjoyed it alot myself. Great for bonding time. A++

Got this book for my little boy, who is a big Minecraft fan.I got this to read to him for his bedtime story. Finding a book he has interest in can be hard. I originally told him 1 chapter a night, but we both really get into the story and find ourselves reading a few chapters a night.It’s brilliant to teach a younger child to start reading too as my little boy loves joining in on the reading and genuinely really enjoys the story.This is book 1-5 and I know once we have fully completed this book we will be buying the next books.

I bought this for my 8 year old son to try and get him more interested in reading (and less interested in YouTube!), and to encourage him to complete a summer reading challenge the school was doing, and it worked a treat!The stories have all the details from the game in them and my son absolutely loved it when all the different mobs, blocks and different building recipes and spells appeared!The main three characters are lovely and you genuinely do care what happens to them.We’re reading these every night before bed and have nearly finished the 5th book and have already ordered number 6!Highly recommend them for any little gamers who love Minecraft!

It is a great book because Carl is funny and because it is a great Minecraft adventure story

An excellent book and I'm sure my grandson will love it. However it's advertised as books 1-5. Maybe I'm naive but I expected 5 small books, not one huge one which will be a challenge for a 7 year old.

It's absolutely perfect for minecraft lovers and my son cannot put it down. He isn't into books usually. Now he is reading the next one. He Had a 300+ page book read in a week. It's fantastic!

I got this book for my sons 6th birthday and each night we read a chapter together, the story is so gripping and even I am excited for bedtime to find out what’s happening to Dave and the gang. Only just seen there is books 6-10. That will be getting purchased asap.

Trying to get my 9 year old son to enjoy reading. Found this book and we both have been blown away! Very well written and great story. Even I enjoy our nightly reading! I knew nothing about Minecraft but now have a better understanding of the world my son loves to play in. Highly recommend for any child/adult who plays Minecraft. The chapters are very short which is perfect for my new reader. Really gives him a sense of accomplishment. The pages are a nice weight and easy to turn. Just can’t say enough about this wonderful book! I can’t wait to order the next book in the series!!!

This book is SUPER AWSOME!!!!!!!There is action on every page!!!Carl in a golem suit!??!??? Seriously!?!????I am soooooo going to be a Mincraft gamer now!!!!

These books and the author are amazing totally recommend to read and for 9 years because then i was small I didn’t like these books ;)
