Fun to play around with.
This was fun mold to play around with.First we poured into it lightly warmed up but the 6061 aluminum we used cools fast so it did not fill the mold properly.Next we heated the cross mold up on the output of the furnace. Our crucible did not have a pour spout so this caused the overflow in the pictures. We poured into the cross mold the 3rd time ontop of preheated cupcake pans so any overflow was captured. We let it naturally cool. Removed it from mold, clipped off the excess overflow. Then used an aluminum polishing wheel to clean it up.I look forward to posting more pictures and videos on our social media and Amazon the better we learn how to utilize this mold.Notes: carefully handle these molds dropping them may chip or brake them, it's the nature of any graphite products. Preheating will prevent cracking, and allow for better pours, furnaces may not get up to temp properly, stirring sticks help and work wonders. For the price I feel like it was worth our purchase to learn. Now for making some necklaces out of what we just created!

Best graphite cross mold
The sharp crispness of the mold is exceptional. The cross proportions are nice for jewelry or a keychain. The graphite itself seems very durable.

Broke
This item arrived broken and it was not packaged well. I am disappointed but I have ordered another one, hopefully it will arrive intact. I'm giving it a 4 because it should work good if it comes intact.

Effective and very good quality
I started making my own jewelry and this casting is fantastic. Its just the right size for anyone who is looking to forge necklaces. Have bought several now to do more than one at a time.

It’s pretty big!
It’s bigger than I thought…but I poured some aluminum in it and it came out pretty cool. Not like the one on Oak Island but pretty cool. I guess I should’ve heated up the mold but it was a spur of the moment thing.
