Giraffe Tools Retractable Garden Hose Reel Wall Mounted

So easy to fix to the wall. When the water is on there is no leaks, so easy to move side to side and the pulling out the hose takes a little bit of pulling but not that hard. I found that the last bit to pull then release it then stops it from trying to pull in the hose pipe. When you have finished pull the hose pipe & it then starts to wind in the pipe. No hassle in it pulling in the pipe but don't let it go because I find it really pulls it in very fast. It's great that there is a stopper on the hose pipe before the gun and that can be altered which is great if you want the end of your hose pipe to be longer or shorter once it's reeled it back in. Not cheap but so far I'm please with the cost of this product because it's easy to use and it works very well. So much better than any of my old hand wind in hose reels which used to get stuck, pipe get twisted, handle broke on one when i was winding in the pipe and some even leaked before it had put water in the pipe. These should of been out many years ago. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a hosepipe reel & wants an easy life.

I have had this on my wall for about 1 year now its never let me down I use it to water my plants on the front garden and back garden If you haven't got a SDS drill it will take some time to drill it to the wall as the screws ankers it comes with are quite big but it needs this so its very sturdy when dragging the reel out very happy with my purchase it is expensive but you get what you pay for definitely would recommend

Getting older, and definitely a bit creaky, I needed a hose that would behave itself and be easy to pull out and, more importantly, rewind, with little effort. I read loads of opinions on a variety of retractable hose reel and decided that this one was a reputable brand, so would go for it. Not sure about the assembling comment, I had a man who did all the necessary to affix it to the wall, so no issues there. I would point out that this hose ( and perhaps all retractable hoses?) is not so easy to pull out, and requires a bit of strength. I thought I could just wander easily to the front garden from the back …..alas, no. However, I have now worked out that if I pull it out to the required length, ( hint, mark hose with coloured tape! ) right beside the box rather than with the spray end where I want to water, then I can work it very well. Same for retracting, go to beside the box and feed it in gently. It is still a lot easier than my previous hose, on a wheel, and I am reasonably happy with it, though I do t think the hose itself is not of a brilliant quality, I noticed one “ kink” already, so am keeping fingers crossed. It was an expensive item, so really hope it lasts.

Brilliant just what I needed. Love it thank you

Wonderful after sales support. The product came with a 2 year warranty, after a year of good service the product developed a fault, I contacted their support, via Amazon, within a week they had provided a brand new replacement product, with no cost to me. Wonderful, well done.

I purchased it on 10th June 2024. This review I'm writing on 27th June 2026. After starting to use it, it worked like a charm for first year, but to be honest I used it maybe 10 times till the end of 2026. In 2025, due to being absent home for most of the year, I used it maybe twice, if at all, honestly I do not remember to use it at all. This year just a month ago when I used it, it stopped working at second time. It doesn't wind back the hose. When I look inside through the hole for the hose, I can see on the left side, that some part is peeled off as if divided to two parts. On the left side, the plastic, small timing belt is bent and looks very loose. For me personally, it is unacceptable that device can be used just dozen times and got broken. Its built is completely inadequate to purpose. This Giraffe Reel is made from very weak parts and it does not serve what it was designed for. I paid 84.99£ for having hose unreeled and reeled less that twenty times which gives more than 4.2£ per use... Absolutely waste of money. One star is way too much

Gardening has always been my escape, a place where I can trade tweets for chirping birds and screen swipes for soil swipes. But, let's be real, wrestling with a rebellious garden hose that acts more like a wild anaconda than a watering tool can dampen the spirit of even the most zen garden gnome. Enter the Giraffe Tools Retractable Hose Reel, the hero my garden didn't know it needed. The automatic rewind feature of this hose reel is like having a garden butler at your beck and call. A gentle pull, and voila, you decide the length, and with another pull, it retracts with the grace of a ballerina, minus the tutu. The integrated hose guide deserves a standing ovation for its no-twist, no-tangle, no-trip performance. It's like it knows I'm more likely to do a faceplant than a pirouette in my garden. The 180° swivel mechanism is a revelation. It's like the hose reel has its own dance moves, reaching every nook and cranny of my garden without the hose performing an impromptu knot-tying ceremony. Installing this beauty was easier than convincing my dog that the sprinkler is not out to get him, with screws and wall plugs ready to tackle brick, concrete, or stone. Now, let's talk about the 7-pattern nozzle. It's like having a Swiss Army knife for water - from jet for the mud-caked car, mist for my ferns that fancy themselves in a tropical forest, to shower for... well, me, after a day's gardening. The freedom to choose is liberating, and let's be honest, a little power trip in the garden never hurt anybody. With a 25m hose plus a 2m tap connection, this hose reel has more reach than my last yoga class, and believe me, that's saying something. Whether it's watering, car washing, pet showering, or floor cleaning, it's like this hose reel looked at my to-do list and said, "I've got you covered." Giraffe Tools not only delivered this garden marvel but also backed it up with a 24-month warranty. It's like they're saying, "We're here for you, through thick and thin, through weeds and blooms." The peace of mind that comes with knowing they've got my back is the cherry on top of this garden sundae.

Easy to install, the actual retractable hose reel seems quite sturdy but the spray gun is cheap. The lever broke on the first use. Luckily I still have my hozelock gun. Note - The hose attachments aren’t waterstop. Retractable reel seems good, attachments are a waste of time.

Ottimo avvolgitubo, l unica pecca è il supposto al muro in plastica e non in ferro.

Used silicone washers to prevent leaks.
