Capel American Heritage Barn Blue 0' 24" X 0' 36" Oval Braided Rug

I could not be more delighted with the beauty of this rug, which truly looks like it was uniquely hand-woven just for me. It has that quality of design that makes you feel each one of these carpets is unique. It is beautifully constructed and I simply love the blend of green colors. It looks stunning against our dark wooden floors and complements the style of the room. One warning, though -- it is VERY SLIPPERY on those floors and should definitely be used with a non-skid mat underneath. It is holding up very well to traffic from our dogs and does not seem to easily show dirt. It is always very important to me to use non-toxic items and products in our home, and I like the fact that this rug does not emit any odors and, thus, seems a safer choice than some rugs and carpeting we have used in the past.

I have been looking for a sturdy area rug for my front entryway. This oval runner is perfect. The colors are beautiful. It is pure quality through and through. I believe it will last for many years, in a high traffic area. The rug is wrapped with care, and catalog is enclosed. For sure, I will order again from this company when I am seeking a round rug in the near future. This rug is rather expensive, but you get what you pay for. And this rug is awesome - well worth the money. I highly recommend!

This rug is beautiful. There was no smell, and it laid flat immediately. We bought it for our rv, so it is in a high traffic area. There is no sign of wear. The rug is heavy and comfortable underfoot, even when barefooted. It is absolutely of the highest quality, and we would purchase it again. We are discussing the purchase of a larger rug for a room in our home, and it will be a braided rug from this company.

As some has said, it’s not a soft as a carpet rug, but it’s not a carpet rug! The stitches are clean and the thread they use is very durable. We’ve got two kids and two dogs that wrestle on it all the time and it’s holding up great. I’m so happy I bought this rug.

This runner is beautifully made. The colors are lovely, but I am so disappointed that I need the 3-6 inch more width that the other runners have. I bought this for my narrow shaped bathroom for stability and to ward off falling in my elder years thinking that with a runner I would not have the movement my two scatter rugs gave me. What I did not count on was I needed the extra width to not be caught on the edge of the side of this pretty runner as I bend forward to wash my face for bed. I teetered back and forth making me feel insecure in my bathroom. I have searched for months trying to find the correct runner that would help to keep me safe in my home, so having to return it is a blow to me. It is just too narrow for my balance.

There's an incredible tightness to the weave of this rug, not one loose or frayed strand in sight.One word of caution - especially if you have any kind of laminate flooring, this rug needs a non-slip mat or double-sided tape to keep it firmly in place.Extremely pleased with the quality, feel, & color. And our Husky finds it quite comfortable as well.

I am using the round rug on my solid wood coffee table that I received from my grandmother to protect the table. It is beautiful and well made.

The braided rug is pretty. It is heavy and sturdyfor my plant stand.
