This item can't be returned just so you know even though it says it can be. It says in a description moistening not needed, but they're as hard as a rock and pretty good size so my smaller turtles could no way eat these without them being moistened. I was really looking for something that was soft and chewable so I could just put it out for them. So I've been adding a tiny bit of water in a bowl and putting them out for the turtles. I will say they do like these and it's not that hard to mix with a tiny bit of water.

My redfoot tortoises chow down on this. It’s handy when I’m low on fresh veggies and fruit for them. I soften them with hot water to make it easier for them to eat. I leave just a bit of crunch.

These are the only food pellets we have ever fed our Sulcata tortoises for the past 30 years. They love them and have thrived (along with their greens and grass). We tried the newer LS pellets and they wouldn't eat them. Stick with the 5M21 pellets for your tortoises and you won't be disappointed. For smaller turtles, you can wet these pellets to aid in feeding.

Like I’ve been ordering this food for one of my kids (tortoise) because he only eats this and refuses anything else, but my other baby tortoise doesn’t like it at all, I don’t know why

My tortoise loves this as an addition to his veggies, greens, fruits, and proteins. I soak in water for about 10 seconds so it gets mushy and easier to eat.
