This is for you, "Brooke from Rampow"
My first thought was "Hey, these are actually good cables!", and that's was all there was to it. However, RAMPOW is a relatively new company, and they need good, positive reviews to succeed. At least, that's what "Brooke from Rampow" said in their email to me asking how I liked the cables. I had no complaints with their product, so why not give them what they asked for? (Full disclosure: they did ask me to leave a review for these cables, but are not paying me to leave positive feedback. That said, let's see how their product stacks up to their claims...) *Rampow claims: "Universal Compatibility - The heavy duty micro usb cable supports most Android Tablets, Cell Phones, and Windows Phone which with Micro USB port." +My observation: This is true, but come on - it's a micro USB cable. Unless you're the kind of person who needs the professional assistance of a 12-year-old to figure out electronics, this should be a no-brainer. The only way anyone could take points off here is if they shipped an Apple Lightning cable or HDMI cable instead. I got what I ordered, so no complaints here :) *Rampow claims: "Superb Durability - The stainless steel connector heads slot in easily and steadily, and won't get loose or fall out from your devices as your normal micro cables. Nylon braided cord is tangle free and robust promises you a perfect experience in charging your devices." +My observation: Okay, THIS is the big deal with charging cables, and this is why I paid $8 EACH for what's usually a cheap or free cable. The very first thing I noticed with these is that they "lock" into your device very nicely, and don't let go. For some people with weak grip (arthritis sucks!) this could be a problem, but it isn't for your average user. I like a solid connection, so ten points to Gryffindor! Also, I have wadded one of these up to shove in my pocket with an extended battery in the event I needed to recharge my phone (courtesy of Pokemon Go); much to my surprise, it didn't tangle into a wadded mess - exactly as they claim. Know what? **** you, Snape, twenty points to Gryffindor. *Rampow claims: "Fast Charge & Sync- Ensures a maximum charging speed up to 2.4A, charges faster than most standard cables, and works better for tablettes and quick charge devices. Transfers data up to 480 Mbits through wide diameter 28/21 AWG data and power wires." +My observation: Other than my inner grammar nazi screaming at the misspelled "tablet" in the description, there are no complaints to be had here. 2.4A is about all you're going to get from ANY micro USB cable, and these seem up to spec. *Rampow claims: "Extra Long - The 6.5ft/2m cable is convenient to use while in bed, a car, or office. No worry again for the short length of cables." +My observation: Indeed, these cables are actually 6.5ft in length. I don't know if I would classify them as "extra long", as one of these is replacing a worn out 10ft cable; but I suppose compared to the 6 INCH cables most devices/chargers come with from the factory, this can't really be a complaint. *Rampow claims: "Lifetime Warranty - Rampow® Unconditional Lifetime Warranty, ensures long-time enjoyment of your purchase. Please contact us with any question or concern - we are here to help." +My observation: I've only had these cables for about a week, and (knock on wood) I haven't broken one of these yet. When/If I do, I am genuinely interested in how this warranty plays out. If one of these breaks, and Rampow will replace it with no questions asked; they will have not only a customer for life, but probably a new fanboy that will rave about how awesome they are whenever the situation comes up. Other than being highly annoying, this isn't necessarily a bad thing ;-)

Look no further, best micro USB charger! *Quality Change?*
*UPDATE* This new cable lasted me LESS THAN a month. I don't know if the quality changed after the restock, but with light use, the cable stopped working after less than a month. I had registered my cable with the warranty Rampow provides and after contacting on the website regarding the issue with my cable, I never got a response. I am now hesitant to buy a new cable from them since I'm not sure if I just got a default or the quality has changed. I never leave reviews, but I just had to for this product because it's that good. Unlike many reviews with other cables, this is not sponsored. Bought the cable with my own money and just feel that strongly about it. We all know how difficult finding replacement chargers can be. I don't buy anything online without reading reviews, so I hope this helps. If you are looking for a DURABLE, fast charging, reliable cable look no further. After my original Samsung charger for my galaxy S7 gave out, I went through MANY cables that would either fray or slip off the phone in a matter of weeks, and some even days. I stumbled across Rampow about a year ago and it was the best find ever! These cables click on nicely/secure into the charging port and charge my phone super fast (though I do use a fast charging box as well, but even then, some cables will charge my phone miserably slow). I have dropped my phone and the cable will not detach from the phone. If the metal part begins to bend a little (after many months of use), I simply push bend it back up a little and good as new. I love the braided nylon because I never get fraying with the cables. The length is awesome. I have also bough the 3.3 long Rampow cables which I use to keep at work and spare bags. I just repurchased the 6.5 ; the other lasted me about a year with heavy use, so definitely durable. Rampow was out of stock for a while and I was worried that they were gone forever. After reading horror stories with other highly rated cables where things would catch on fire, I was concerned that I would not find a reliable replacement. I was super happy when I saw they had restocked. And it is such an affordable price too! This is the only charging cable I'll use!

COMPARE TO AKNER: Solid, sturdy cable that *doesn't* fall out of your phone
I’ve used a lot of micro USB cables. My original Samsung one worked beautifully - it was long enough, durable, and it stayed in the phone with no issues. That one bit the dust a while back and I’ve tried to find a suitable replacement. Anker had been my go-to for a long time but their more recent cables stop “holding in place” in the phone after a few weeks ( here is a link to some of those cables: http://amzn.to/2kU1oWW ). For an active person moving around with a portable charger, this just won’t work. So I decided to give a different company a go. I ordered this Rampow cable due to its build quality, braided design, length and warranty the company puts behind the product. Build quality: the tip is a nice hard metal which feels sturdy. The tip “clicks” nicely into my Samsung Galaxy S7 and does not slide around or fall out. As an added bonus, on one side, the tip has a white logo so you know which way to plug the cable into your phone (other cables sometimes have this but not as distinctly visible as the Rampow one). Braided design: the cable itself is a braided fabric material which is flexible yet doesn’t kink up much. Useful and feels nice on the hand. Length: I travel a lot and 6’ lets me plug my phone into most wall outlets at coffee shops, libraries, and near beds I’m staying in so I can use my phone (and recharge it) most anywhere! Warranty: The company seems to stand behind their products. Will update once I’ve had experience with this firsthand. All in all it’s been a solid, sturdy cable for a week. Will update if it fails or I have any difficulty. EDIT: Have used now over 1 month. Consistently stays in place in phone. Cable works at all angles, even when bent. 6' is so nice for plugging into a far-away power outlet at a coffee shop & for relaxing in the bedroom. Very pleased with product still. EDIT: Had 7 months, cable tip broke when the cat knocked it off the table. Rampow replaced for free - recommended!

Great item...while it lasts
I got this cord back in November of 2018 and I loved it. It was more than long enough for wherever I took it and charged my phone super quick. Fast forward to now, June of 2019, and I'm looking for a replacement for it. The cord itself looks brand new, but the heads on either end wore out fast. I'll admit, I can be a bit hard on charger cables, but I had hoped for at least a year of use from this one based on its ratings. The plastic around the bottom of the USB end fell off last week, and I have to be careful not to bump my phone because it will only charge in a certain position now. Tl:dr - Great cord if you plan to leave it in one place, but if you're more on the go like me, don't bother. ***EDIT*** Atevon Customer Service was kind enough to send me a replacement cable. I use it exclusively at home, and so far I have no complaints. It charges my phone super fast and it's more than long enough when I'm in bed.

Didn't really believe it improved charging speed but it DRASTICALLY does...
I had a cheap 6ft cable before but it stopped working out of nowhere pretty early on. Since then I've been bouncing from charger to charger. I must've gone thru 3 cables in almost a year. Enough was enough and I found this cable. My needs were that I needed at least a longer cable that fit for my android that I could switch from my car to my room. I read this one and it stated it had improved charging speed or whatever. And lo and behold it DOES. I don't know any cables that can charge my phone more than 20-40 percent that what it was before in less than an hour or so. Back then I would just plug into my car to keep my phone running but with this cable I actually get even more power than before I plugged in... I would always worry just for being at less than 30% (I drive for work a lot) and now that worry is gone. Honestly don't know how well this cable is built but it does more than the job requires. Both in length and speed and overall cable quality. Goodbye to exposed wiring on an old cable. The best part? I'm writing this from the otherside of my bed while charging. Yeah. 6ft cables rock but they got nothing on this one. Was at 70% just a bit ago now it's almost fully charged... Its a good feeling.

Working Well!
So far this cable is working well for my needs! I needed a longer cable to power an automatic pet feeder. The 6 ft length gives me more options on where I can put it. I contacted customer service before purchasing to make sure it would work; they responded quickly. This seems to be a great quality cable for the money. My cats are getting fed on time!

Charges SLOW with an older ORICO 40W charger, but charges FAST with a newer Anker 40W charger
-I have two Galaxy S7 (one for me and one for my wife). -I bought TWO (2) ORICO DCAP-5S 40W 5-Port High Speed Desktop USB Charger for iPhone 6s / 6 / 6 plus, iPad Air 2 / mini 3, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge / Note 5, HTC M9, Nexus and More - Black -I bought A LOT of RAMPOW 3 foot red cables. With RAMPOW's shorter red cables, with the above set up, everything has worked well for years. When I bought TWO (2) longer 6 foot grey RAMPOW cables, I noticed even in the supercharged 2.1A ports, both my and my wife's Galaxy S7 sometimes (depending on what I was using) would use up more battery than it could charge. The result was my battery eventually ran out. The red shorter cables worked great still. Both grey cables behaved the same. I tried my second IDENTICAL ORICO charger with the grey cables and got the same results. I tried this longer grey RAMPOW cable with a Samsung wall outlet fast charger that came with my Galaxy S7s and it was fast. Being a scientist, I hypothesized the issue was a combination of the older charger not being able to push enough electricity through the longer cable, so I bought this item: Anker 40W 5-Port USB Wall Charger, PowerPort 5 for iPhone XS / XS Max / XR / X / 8 / 7 / 6 / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, Galaxy S9 / S8 / Edge / Plus, Note 8 / 7, LG, Nexus, HTC and More CONCLUSION: I was right. The longer RAMPOW 6 foot grey cables only supercharged properly when used in combination with the newer Anker 40W charger designed for the Galaxy S8 and S9 on my Galaxy S7 phone, whereas when used with the older ORICO 40W charger, the longer 6 foot RAMPOW cable charged my phones slower, while shorter cables supercharged fast. If you're experiencing "slow charging", the issue may be your charger my doggs.

Quality Cables!
I purchased and received two of these cables a few days ago to replace the standard cable that came with my Galaxy Note 4. Although I am currently unable to comment on how they survive heavy use over time, I can surely say that these cables feel incredibly sturdy. My old Samsung cables had to be replaced because the sleeving on the cables tore open, also having the plastic surrounding the USB connector break off to expose bare metal. This was after a period of no heavy abuse to the cables. However, these Rampow cables are clearly designed to take a beating and last a long time compared to the standard cable. The connector ends are built out of a single piece of steel, which prevents the problem with plastic cable ends. They are also very long (6.5 ft) so they make it easy to reach your phone, no matter where it is plugged in. No more hovering near the wall plug to use your phone when it is charging with these cables! The braided cable is also a very nice touch, adding an extra layer of protection that prevents the cord from ripping or breaking. I feel very satisfied so far after just a few days, so I know that these cables will last me for a long time into the future! Rampow will definitely be getting my business from now on when I need a micro USB cable!

Don't buy any other cables. Trust me.
Well what can I say. Fed up with purchasing these cables from other companies. They break so quickly and it's not long before I'm ordering more. I bought 5 cables from another seller for less than the amount I paid for one of these. They don't necessarily stop working, but having a S7 Edge, it tells me how long until my phone is charged. At first they all fast charge from 0-100% within a couple of hours, but then that timer slowly goes up. Until you've got a cable that'll take 6 hours for a full recharge. I ordered these cables due to the lifetime warranty. I bought two. They looked well made and quite sturdy. I've had them for around two months now. Both fast charge still and work great. Unfortunately, one did stop working, but this was my fault. I emailed over the weekend just gone (on Sunday, I believe). Tuesday morning and my new cable is here. They stuck to their word, they didn't mess me about. I rarely leave reviews but it's refreshing to see a company living up to their promise.
