This is a great zapper! This is my second purchase of this item. The first one I bought because I live in Florida and we have very small fungus gnats. If you live anywhere near the beach or the river there are these small annoying gnats (like a fruit fly) that are so small that come right through the screens in your window or can crawl through a closed window.They're awful! So, finally ,We bought this bug zapper put it in a cubby above our refrigerator and left it on 24/7 for 4 years straight! It's fantastic! Clears up bugs in no time! Good for indoor or outdoor - just- works! Several times a day we hear it go SNAP, and we look at each other and smile.Love it🖤Buy one!

I like this bug zapper very much. The purple light is very attractive to bugs. When they rush towards the light, they will touch the high-voltage power grid and die instantly! I like this way of killing bugs. There is no need to spray chemicals. It is environmentally friendly and efficient. The bug zapper has a long cable, which is enough to hang it under the eaves. In short, this is a powerful, practical and beautiful bug zapper. I will buy more.

I've had it over a year and I leave it out year round during heavy rain and snow both. I brought it with me when I moved because it's genuinely amazing and now that I have a bigger yard I'm probably going to buy a second one. Will update when I find out if it takes out June bugs or not 👍 also the zapping sound it makes when it kills the bugs is pretty loud so plan on hanging it away from bedroom windows if your leaving it on all night

We really liked this hanging bug zapper—it’s well-made, easy to hang from a hook or tree branch, and definitely effective at attracting and eliminating flying insects. The light is strong enough to cover a decent area of our patio, and we noticed a significant drop in mosquito activity after just one evening of use. It’s also easy to clean, which we appreciated.That said, we ultimately decided to go with a battery-powered version instead, just for more flexibility in placement (especially when we're out camping or don’t have an outlet nearby). But if you’re looking for a plug-in option for a porch, deck, or yard with access to power, this is a solid choice—quiet, efficient, and simple to use. We’d still recommend it for anyone looking to keep bugs at bay in a fixed location.

I live across the highway from a swamp. Bugs everywhere. This thing rocks. Kills bugs all night, and dead bugs are all over the ground. Chickens come around in the morning and clean them all up. Win-Win!

This bug zapper actually works as described. I've tried others only to disappointed with their results. We live in a place where mosquitoes and noseeums are a real nuisance especially in the spring. I'm so happy to have found this bug zapper.

This is an inexpensive unit that does the job even when large flies come into the unit.

This bug zapper works really well for my backyard — it definitely cut down the number of mosquitoes and flies during our evening BBQs. The light attracts bugs quickly, and the zap is strong. I also like that the outer shell is plastic and safe to touch. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the range could be a bit wider. Still, it’s a solid choice for keeping bugs away in a small to medium outdoor space!
