Foam Balance Beam 6" Blue

This is a perfect addition to my collection of activities for kids. It is both light weight and durable not to mention fun for kids of all ages. I use the balance beams with my karate students. The youngest students find it challenging enough just to walk across the beam. More experienced students enjoy attempting to successfully cross the beam doing kicks along the way. Either way, students are engaged in learning balance and coordination and having lots of fun too!

Purchased this for my kids to practice their gymnastics stunts on. I'm glad my kids are small because this won't last long, especially if they were bigger. My oldest walked across it and when she gets to the middle the 'beam' starts to lift up off the ground. It doesn't stay flat. It's a step above a pool noodle cut in half. It is lightweight so it's easy to move for storage. I feel like for what the product is the price should be less. :/

My three year old son loves this. I like that he can pick it up and move it himself but it’s also sturdy enough to support an adult. However, for adults and I imagine larger children the foam does give a little so it is not a stiff surface (if anyone would care about that). It’s a good deal and solid product.

This is like cutting a pool noodle in half. There is not a slip grip on the bottom and the material was shedding in the package. It was bent and very slippery. Not a safe balance beam for a child to practice on. Also had a curve to it. We returned it.

Like everyone else said, this is basically a pool noodle...but worse because it disintegrates. I opened it up and blue foam went everywhere...and every time they stepped on it...more blue foam. I spent a long time cleaning my house after 10 minutes of play. This thing is not just lightweight, it;s basically no weight so it doesn't lay flat on the ground. The only reason it is 2 stars instead of 1, is that for the 10 minutes I let them play with it before I put it back to be returned, they were having fun. Just spend the money for something better.

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter to practice her balance beam moves on a soft surface that is not too high off the ground. She loves it and uses it often. It is foam, which is basically like a bendable Styrofoam, which means it will break if bent together. My granddaughter left it outside in the rain and it arched up at the top and have not been able to get it to go down all the way. It does fit her needs perfectly though, since she is new to gymnastics. The edges are rounded which makes it easier to keep her footing and softer when she does her summersaults on it. When I received it, I thought the price was a little high for what I received, but overall satisfied with the product.

Light and easy to store or move from one location to another. Some reviews are disappointed by the "half noodle" look. That may be true but if you need it for balance activities and something safe for kids, this is working perfectly for our school based therapy program. I wish it was longer but we will definitely order again if the need arises.

The price is ideal and the product is great! My 3 year old loves it. She practices on it daily, and so do I! Holds up weight very well. Nice and sturdy!
