coating didn't last long

I like to buy rings that are similar to 'real' rings to see if I like them before spending 100s of dollars on a ring. This was a 'you pay for what you get' type of ring. darling, beautiful but not the most sturdy. After a week of wearing, it tarnished rapidly.
