MG MGB Tourerand GT: Owners' Handbook

This is a reprint of the original owners handbook. Be sure it is correct for your car as there were subtle differences year on year. If you've got a B it is a fine finishing touch and even offers advice on routine maintenance as well as on how everything works. One incongruity is that it is the correct handbook for a 74 car, but the cover illustration is of a slightly earlier model with a different grille, but I guess that's how British Leyland produced them.

Good but could be a bit more comprehensive

Covers the essentials: basic servicing such as oil changes, coolant changes and lubrication. Guides you through the switch gear etc as well. With this and a Haynes manual you should be fairly well equipped to deal with most day to day tasks. If it included a section on removing oil stains from the drive it would be pretty much perfect, (try biological washing powder, hot water and a scrubbing brush)
