Loved it!
This series just keeps getting better and better. I thought Darius and Reagen were my favourites but Emery and Penny have officially stolen the spot. And I agree with Veronica...a tortured reluctant hero is just swoon-worthy. Can't wait to read the next one.

A fantastic start to the spin off from the Fire & Ice series . Penny is a bit of a loner having been raised by her super protective mother after the death of her father but still waters run deep & Penny has hidden depths she had no inkling of until a chance encounter with Emery , who is doing his best to avenge the death of his brother .Pennys brand of magic plays by its own rules & doesnt follow the normal paths , accidental deaths & hurting occurs when she feels scare or threatened , sometimes even the people on her side arent safe from her power but she does apologise nicely. This book is full of K F Breenes brilliantly sarcastic brand of humour & some old friends from Fire & Ice make an appearance plus a few new ones are made along the way , can't wait for the next in this series.

Absolutely brilliant
Penny isn’t aware of her powers when she turns a coven of witches into zombies and if untrained she’s that powerful, what she will be like when she starts to learn her craft? Follow her journey and find out.If you read and loved the Fire and Ice Trilogy - which is also set in the DDVN universe - then I’m confident you’re going to love Natural Witch. I wasn’t Penny’s biggest fan when she was guest appearing in Reagan’s trilogy but I have to say she’s a much more interesting character when you get to follow her and get to know her better. Reagan is still my favourite female of the two and watching her from Penny’s point of view is amazing, as I think it made me love her that much more. Still, this is Penny’s book and we only get a glimpse of Reagan here, so that’s all I’m going to say about her. Penny. Wow. She’s so sweet and clumsy and a compete badass on the quiet. She’s so endearing, it’s hard not to love her and her quirks. I love that she has ‘pet rocks’. It’s such a silly thing but it makes you smile. I also love the fact that Emery loves her little quirks too. He’s not your typical hero either; he’s more of a reluctant hero that thinks of himself as a villain. He’s had a rough life and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any easier any time soon. The path he and Penny find themselves is a dangerous one, but together they at least stand a chance. I can’t wait to follow their story and see how it unfolds. I have no doubt that it’s going to be an emotional ride.

I think I got halfway through this book...but each time I tried to read more I just couldnt. It was just very slow and not for me.Book 1&2 had more adventure and the character kept you reading but penny and her weird swearing really put me off. First few times was fine but after a while its just too much. This one was a miss for me and Ive tried to pick it back up again each time and fail miserably

Loved...loved...loved it!
Penny is so relatable and with her awkwardness and good heart you will fall in love with her.KF Breene has a way of making her leading ladies soft and gentle but totally badass! The story is exciting and fast paced, but not so much so you need to read it 3 times just to understand it properly.Only one problem I have to wait until April for Natural Mage 😲Guess I'm gonna need to reread the Fire and Ice Trilogy and probably dust off the Darkness Series, Sasha, Stefan, Charles and Jonas have been left alone for too long 😘

Amazing
I loved this book. Penny and Emery’s introduction to this series was explosive. Penny and Emery are fantastic characters and I can’t wait to find out more about them and their story. This book had plenty of laughs, excitement and adventure, all mixed in with a whole load of magic. Can’t wait to read more in this series !!
