Sadly the zipper didn’t hold up after just a few uses.

Bought this for my son for his sudden ‘I’m obsessed with hockey out of nowhere’ phase, when he just randomly started begging for a Boston Bruins backpack. He LOVES it, and I love it. Super functional, has one smaller outside front zip pocket above logo, which is still big enough to fit at least a couple small books or more, or a pair of winter gloves, hat, book. One bigger main zipped area. Inside the main area there is a separate sleeve to place an iPad/tablet with a cushioned backing. Very helpful because with the way a 7yo boy throws his backpack around, it is almost necessary. Plenty of inside space for iPad, lunchbox, several books, regular-sized pocket folder, and he’s even shoved his hoodie and stuffed animal for pj day in with it all lol. There are also two outside mesh pockets where we can stick his water bottle in one and whatever else in the other. He’s a taller, lean kid and the backpack still doesn’t look too big for him. He’s about 49” and 50 lbs and it fits nicely. Would definitely recommend for maybe 6+ years old, with plenty of room to grow into for a few years probably. We’ve only had it for about a month or two, but so far no issues holding up to the beatings of my son 😄

The backpack is visually amazing ... however the production is AWFUL !!!!!!!! I would not recommend ordering this product. After approx 6 weeks, the lining of the outer pocket tore apart at the bottom (inside the backpack), so it is completely useless, unless whatever you put in the outer pocket is in some type of container or bag. A few weeks later, the zipper broke ... not just misaligned so you could recenter the pulls, the zipper literally pulled apart from the backpack. I'd read about the poor zipper in a previous review, but was hoping it was a one-time incident, things happen. So, I took my chances and ordered anyway. We live near St. Louis, my son was elated with the backpack, and then it basically is falling apart. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN PRODUCT QUALITY. I feel we should be refunded or at least sent a replacement.
