LOOK NO FURTHER if you need FULLY ADJUSTABLE> MULTI-LENS > LIGHT-WEIGHT> BRIGHTLY LIT> MAGNIFYING GLASSES
I spent a lot of time reviewing similar products as I have purchased similar products over the last 15 or so years, past experience was varied with other products - some were terrible, others were less than adequate - problems with battery life, low output lamps (older type incandescent bulbs), problems with poor adjustability, weight, build quality, LENS choices and/or lens quality - I even experimented with separate lights and magnifying glasses to try and find the right combination. These are as close to perfect as it comes - first for the price my expectations were not high - but the build quality is great (even though my first pair broke - although I think if I would have READ the adjustment/Lens changing instructions more carefully I may have avoided this mishap. Either way, they replaced the broken product IMMEDIATELY, before I even filed a request because this company proactively reaches out after purchase to check up on customer satisfaction and to answer any questions - WOW - the product is extremely comfortable, lightweight yet rugged enough to stay adjusted without moving around, others made my head and face sweat - these do not , LENS are fantastic, they are optically clear, do not distort, can be infinitely adjusted (focal length and angle) & the combination of magnification thickness is good for most jobs, the built in light is very bright, doesn't get hot & is also adjustable, good combination of flood and spot so it provides the right amount of WHITE light where you need it, so far the battery life has been excellent. The combination of using either the headband (great if you are using for extended period or if you need to work lying on your back or side (they do not fall off or move), band is adjustable or you can easily switch to standard over the ear eyeglass type for quick jobs or when you need to take glasses on/off while working. Storage case for LENS is top notch as is included polishing cloth, even the shipping box can be used to store the glasses to keep them safe and clean between jobs as it has a molded interior to prevent glasses from banging around and box is not too large and is heavy duty for long life. Instructions are very detailed with pictures and actually well written (in proper / correct English so it is CLEAR). Again, follow directions on how to adjust focal length (requires a good quality small head Phillips screwdriver to make this adjustment for best clarity - I noticed that this does not have to be moved often once it is set correctly for the most common lenses - for me I need to adjust this only when I use the STRONGEST magnifying Lens - the 1-4 Lens can use the same adjustment (this may be different for you - depends on your eyesight), either way, its a simple quick adjustment, but this piece performs several functions and is very well made but you need to be careful because it is an important 3 way adjustable piece (LENS Holder) Nosepiece is adjustable & more comfortable than my prescription glasses, all the parts that come in contact with your skin have a comfortable non-slip rubber like padding (no slick plastic that would slide around if you sweat, touching your skin). These little comfort and functional features you usually don't find in a product in this price range - it is ergonomically designed/engineered - a lot of thought went into form/function, comfort - still can't believe how light they are and how well they work and how easy they are to adjust it seems they thought of everything. I paid 4 x or more for other glasses that don't come close to these, even separate headlights that I bought don't come close to proving the right amount of light exactly where I need it. You cannot combine lens - only one at a time, you can where your glasses under these (plenty of room for my head and glasses anyway, Lens can be lifted out of the way without removing headset if need be - but because of focal length, adjustability and light weight, you can forget you have them on, and with the lens sticking out from your forehead several inches, I have turned my head while I had it stuck behind an equipment rack and either knocked something off the shelf or clipped the Lens on side of rack and pulled them out of the holder, fell to hard floor and bounced around, LENS did not break (they are strong and not soft plastic like the ones made 10 or so years ago) they are a hard (H5 degrees) and do not easily scratch under normal working conditions. Can use soapy warm water to remove greasy, grimy finger prints - comes with HQ eyeglass cleaning cloth. Changing Ear clips to band is a pretty stiff HD clip, takes a little finger/thumb strength to push button down to release lock (good thing). I like using the band just to keep them in place when I am behind equipment close to wall and they are so comfortable, I sometimes forget they are even there (almost took my wife's eye out with the LENS edge when I kissed her goodbye when she left for work!!) Have not found (so far) anything negative - I am really impressed with these I don't write too many reviews but I think these are great especially since I work on electronics that require a lot of close detail work and my eyes are getting worse on close up work (I can read a street sign 1/2 block away!!!) - these allow me to see close up so I can work again without have a 1/2 pound of lights and 3 different pairs of glasses on my head!! LOL Not to Mention - the GREAT VALUE - the empty box, and storage container with the 5 LENS is worth the purchase price never mind the fantastic fully adjustable, brightly lit magnifying Glasses - seriously these are a no brainer for what they do - I hope they last as long as I think they will. I would buy them again even if I only got a year of weekly use out of them. Because of the adjustments and lightweight - they certainly are not indestructible - not recommended for heavy duty work where they would be exposed to heavy tools or extreme temps, dirt, chemicals, grease, etc.. these are perfect for electronics, jewelry, watch repair, controlled environment, they are IMHO part of a fine work toolkit, not designed for a heavy duty machine shop environment set of glasses, wouldn't last a day. Keep original box to store them in - they should last a while if properly cared for - and no EXPENSIVE BUTTON BATTERIES to worry about - uses 3 x AAA, common long lasting batteries.

WHAT A GREAT BUY!
These magnifiers are comfy, they work excellently, all the moving parts are sturdy and wow! I can see my fine rhinestone/glue work! I honestly can't believe the price for what I got. The case that holds the extra lenses is super impressive and sturdy. The lights are totally bright enough to help see and not even really needed in good lighting. The batteries will surely last a VERY long time and the batteries don't seem to weigh them down at all. The lenses are thick and good quality. I can easily wear them over my eyeglasses. What can I say? Great purchase and I just ordered a 2nd kit for a friend of mine. Thank you for a great product! I know I will get many years of good use out of them. They came in a sturdy box that held everything nicely and shipped fast. P.S. The adjustable elastic strap looks like it will work great. You have to take the arms off to put on the strap (super easy to do), but I will just keep the arms on and not use the strap. I think, haha. Great purchase.

Surprisingly solid quality!
I bought these for the interchangeable magnification. I build models, paint miniatures, and do small-scale products such as electronic soldering or cleaning the sensors on my various cameras. These all require different levels of magnification for me, so I decided to give this set a shot. First, what I'm comparing this to: I have one of those old school visor-type magnifiers. You know what I'm talking about. And I only have one power for it. I can purchase more, but that was a separate cost and this new set was more economical than the same levels of magnification bought separately for my old unit. Out of the box, I was impressed by the build quality. This unit was way more sturdy than I was expecting for the price. However, that is also its one potential downfall. With the batteries inserted and with the weight of the full power lens, this becomes quite a hefty piece to be sitting on the bridge of your nose for an extended period. The head strap does alleviate the pressure a bit, but it's still very noticeable. It remains to be seen how comfortable these will be for a longer painting session. (It's worth noting that you can slightly adjust the nose bridge, if you're careful, by bending the arms in or out for a better fit -- and this also helps with comfort.) The LED is surprisingly powerful. However, the cold, flat light makes me think that this will be more useful for projects that only require light, not quality light (such as electronics). For painting, I might just stick with my normal lamps. Now it's the lenses in this kit that really blew me away. Optically, they are phenomenal! In a direct comparison to my old magnifying visor, it's like night and day in terms of clarity. The lenses in my old visor are clean and scratch-free, and they seemed fine. But after looking through these lenses, it's like I'm looking through fog with my old set. I was truly and honestly impressed with these lenses and this is far and away the best part of this kit. I feel like this will be nearly perfect for my needs. If necessary, I'll update this review once I've had some longer sessions with it.

Finally! The perfect magnification and light for cross-stitching!
For months I had been using a pair of reading glasses combined with a magnifier that has a light on it. It was unwieldy and constantly in my way while trying to cross stitch. After a while I realized there had to be a better way. I was hesitant to purchase a wearable solution but figured this item had good reviews and wasn't too expensive, so why not? So, I did. Once received I was immediately ecstatic. My observations: o The light is nice and bright, but use your own batteries. The batteries accompanied it were short-lived and the light dims with them. o The included pack of lenses is phenomenal - if you're unsure on the amount of magnification you need, don't worry, this case will allow you to try a number of options until you find the right magnification for your task. o I started by wearing it the device using the glasses style attachment. I found it was resting too much on my nose and a little heavy to be comfortable. I switched to the headband attachment and was able to tighten it just enough to make it much more comfortable. o I was worried wearing something that was magnifying everything was going to cause issues with other activities in the room. I have an active three year old I need to keep any eye on! There is a gap between the device and where the magnifying lenses are held that enables you to look up and see normally. This has been great not only for keeping an eye on my kids but also for watching television or being on the computer watching YouTube videos while I'm stitching. Think, similar to bifocals - you look down and can see what you're doing in magnification but look up and can still see through the gap using your normal eyesight. I occasionally leave reviews on items I buy and felt this product deserved my review since I was so happy with my purchase. I hope you end up purchasing and are just as happy with it as I am!

Love this gig
Very comfortable. Working with the eyeglass arms instead of headband for ease of putting on/taking off. Stays secure without headband. Huge improvement in quality of time spent crafting and hobbying. The packaging is especially high-quality. I'm not just very satisfied: I'm impressed. Buy this set. It's great.

a god buy and what could be a really good head magnifier
For the price of this item i cannot complain but it should be much better. I bought it because of the HUGE number of good reviews. I almost returned it but with some TLC and patience - I now like it despite of the initial problems. here is the Good - and the BAD. GOOD -- ANd the BAD basic design - the lights are VERY effective and VERY useful - And yes i prefer the slight extra wt of the triple A's for long life. And yes the battery insertion is NOT a no-brainer. It takes some ' messing with that could have been avoided by a simple change in the original compartment design. the ears are s SUPER pain in ass top insert. After rimming off a tine casting bur - it went well and I retested several time - worked fine now. The head strap is a good idea and i like it but once again MINOR improvement needed. Hed strap MUST Be inserted the correct way. DID finally see a 1 and 2 on both parts to insure it matched. VERY HARD TO SEE! - nee to be large and visible. The hed band needs to be longer. I have an average size head for an adult male and the band was just long enough with not a centimeter to spare! The lenses ( seem like god quality) will fall out with only a slight bump. the storage box is nice and is a must have. The light on/off button as VERy hard to use. I found using fingernail and not my thumb worked better. A switch profile that stands up a 1/4' or so would solve the problem. the lens adjustment is VERY hard to move and must be done with lens NOT inserted - which defeats the benefit of the feature. I found that for my use - putting the nose est high up on the bony part was the least fatiguing . I also found that with the head band - if you place far down on your head in the rear - it tends to take the discomfort almost completely off your nose. Play wit a bit and you will see and feel what suits you best. The clarity and depth of field of what was in focus at highest power was excellent.. It is over-all a good device. I believe that if the company corrected these items and charged a coupe more bucks - it would become a 5 star no-brainer. Keep in mind that most of the criticisms were solveabe after the first day of getting used to it - and 'problems' that go away with a bit of use. Keep in mind - If my head had been a half size bigger I would have returned it. If I did not figer out what was making the 'ear bars and bad so hard to connect - I would have returned it -- none of this would have ha ANYTHInG to do with the actual performance - which was actually good - minor stuff - eg lights were great - light switch - not do great. Attention to detail - all minor easy fixes

Yes, you can wear glasses with these!
I decided that diamond painting would be my next craft project. I bought all these nifty accessories and thought I was cool to begin my new obsession. Wrong. I was having a hard time seeing where to place the diamonds. So, back to Amazon. I came across these. I read the reviews and took a gamble. I wear glasses - which are a pain to get fitted for. I have, according to my family and friends, a tiny nose and ears. I have an issue where my sinuses hate glasses unless they are just so. I also am blind as a bat - extremely near sighted. So, yes - these were a gamble. But I was desperate because my "work" glasses - which help me see things on the computer and anything I might read - they were not enough. My prescription is not even a year old - so yeah - I was desperate. So, I get these and I am skeptical they are going to work with me. They look good. The lenses are in their own little case. The glasses are plastic and the nose thing looks uncomfortable. Honestly, the lenses and it's case look really nice - not top tier prices, but not cheap. The actual glasses - they look cheap and flimsy. But I am still - it doesn't hurt to try. It requires 3 AAA batteries. Oh boy. More weight on my forehead and nose. I put those in. I remove the arms and snap in the elastic headband part. That requires some adjustment to get the right fit. ***Here is how I put them on - so not to pull my hair out of my ponytail and to work with my glasses*** I took off my glasses. I did the nose piece first, then elastic band over the head. Then adjusted as needed. Then put on my glasses. This let the nose piece be higher on my nose and allowed my actual glasses fit as normal. So, once I got them on - I was pretty amazed. They were not heavy. I didn't feel like I was going to have dents on my forehead or nose. They are not light as air, but way better than I thought they would be. Now it was time for the next test - could I see... The light was nice and bright. The lenses were very clear. I did a test - and YES!! I could now do my craft!! I don't get excited by much - but I felt like I could see again. I also do cross stitch and ceramic painting. I've had to put those aside because the strain on my eyes was getting to be too much. So, with these - I can pick up old crafts again! I will say that if these didn't work - I was going to request at my next eye exam for suggestions - which would have probably lead to a 3rd pair of glasses. And did one of those headlamp lights and hoped for the best. The lenses are like reading glasses. So, at a certain distance away - things will get blurry. If you are doing up close work - these are great. If they last over a year - I'll consider money well spent. However, they should last that long or longer - as I am not hard on stuff. So, in my opinion - well worth the money.

Perfect for $18
Thanks to 50 year old eyes, I now own two magnification headsets in addition to reading glasses. My hobbies involve manipulation and repair of tiny hardware parts, including repairing stylish, overpriced European reading glasses frames and other expensive hardware, where a stripped screw or bolt might turn into a permanent loss of hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. The two headsets I use are the (1) YOCTOSUN LED lighted head magnifying visor, and (2) Magnify Labs headband magnifier headset. The Yoctosun is a modern white plastic gadget with built in LEDs for light source. The Magnify Labs headset is the classic 1970’s looking jewelers headset you see old dudes wearing in movies while they check out stolen goods or forged documents in a dimly lit back room. The Yoctosun is almost perfect. Complaints: (1) the lenses are not great - my eyes only focus with them in a very specific small range of object placement, or they make me dizzy. (2) The LEDs feel limited in light spectrum - the light they generate is artificial and harsh, which is to be expected at this price point. But I would pay more for better lighting, so I don’t need to wear a second headset for light. A Nichia E21A in 4500k, or a 219BT-V1 R9080 sw/nw in 4000-4500K would be perfect for aging male eyes that already lose parts of the color spectrum (which cheap LEDs make worse). The Magnify Labs headset is ugly, feels cheap, but fits comfortably, and the lenses are fantastic. TL;DR: Yoctosun - -Fits like glasses, light, and looks modern. -Fast and easy to change lenses. -Built in light source. -Lenses and light source are cheap quality, but…it’s $18. Magnify Labs: -High quality glass lenses -Fits over whole head. Must remove hat. -No light source. -Changing lenses requires adding/removing tiny screws you may need another magnifier to see. -Perfect accessory to wear when fencing stolen diamonds or art. I’d pay over $100 for a Yoctosun like design, with high quality glass lenses, and a quality Nichia LED emitter, but I haven’t found anything like this yet.
