We wanted to try juicing as a healthier lifestyle choice starting the new year. Since we weren't sure how we'd actually like it, we didn't want to spend a ton of money on a really expensive juicer. We found this one and based on the price and good reviews, decided to try it out. After using it for about a week, I can honestly say we love it!! Starting off your day with a veggie/fruit juice really sets the tone and make you feel energized and ready to make healthy choices. As far as the machine, it is pretty nice and sturdy except for the plastic clips that hold the containers together. They work fine, but I am a bit concerned that they could break easily after prolonged use. I will update if that is the case. The rest of the machine is pretty easy to use and take apart to clean. As other's have suggested, clean it immediately and all of the pulp will simply rinse off with no scrubbing or anything. The only thing that needs a bit of manpower is the metal filter/sieve as the tiny bits of pulp need to be scraped off. I make my juice, and then immediately rinse off everything and scrub the filter. It probably takes maximum 5 minutes. Just enough time for my juice to chill on ice. The machine is loud, so don't plan on doing this while others are sleeping without getting the stank eye from them. We have juiced a wide variety of fruits and vegetables- multiple types of apples, oranges, tangerines, lemons, limes, pineapple, kale, spinach, cucumber, ginger, celery, tomatoes, jalapenos, garlic, you name it. We've tried both sweet and savory juices and they are all delicious. We also made some pure fruit juice and let me tell you, once you've had fresh orange juice there's nothing like it! One suggestion on greens-small piecey greens do not juice well in this machine. I've tried broccoli slaw and chopped kale and both basically flew through the chute into the pulp bin. Bigger, leafier greens will work better. Here are a few tips for new users: -Juice in the am before eating anything else. This will allow you to get maximum vitamins/minerals absorbed and maximum benefits -If you want to keep it healthier, only add 1 piece of fruit. 1 apple will add a lot of sweetness, so you don't need to go overboard (unless that's what you like ofcourse) Carrots and beets also have a good amount of sugar, so keep that in mind. Lemons/lime add a "sweet sour" taste without as much sugar too. -Peel oranges/tangerines/lemons/limes and remove core/seeds from apples to remove a bit of the bitterness. -Drink your juice asap after making it; it will start to oxidize and lose vital nutrients. I have read you can keep juice in an air tight container for up to 12 hours if you need to make in advance, but you will lose some of the nutrients compared to freshly made. -The bag in the pulp bin is nice, but honestly it takes a whole 1 min to dump the pulp and rinse it off. I think it's kind of a waste of plastic bags, but if you don't mind then it does save a tiny bit of time. -Personally I like the juice better on ice; it's more refreshing and it kind of dulls the flavor a tiny bit. Hot spinach juice can be a little hard to handle first thing in the am. Overall, I really love this juicer and don't regret purchasing in the slightest. It may not be the most expensive high quality juice on the market, but it fits our needs and does the job perfectly. I highly recommend! 0

Before I bought this juicer, I was researching around the internet to see what was a great product but at a good deal. This juicer definitely takes the cake. I Loooove this juicer! I was comparing to the other Hamilton Beach 67650A Big Mouth juicer but the description looks identical so I went with the newest of the two, which seems to be this one because of the "on/off switch". This one seems more updated to me. This is my first juicer and I am very happy about it for several reasons. These are as follows: 1. Great price!- Very worth it especially for beginner juicers. 2. A lot of juice comes out- The secret with spinach or any loose veggies is to add a lot to the hole before using the presser to push down the veggies. More of the spinach will be juiced instead of going into the pulp bin. 3. Very powerful!- Which means it could be loud. For a juicer though, It is not that bad. A powerful machine like this should be expected to be loud anyway, You'll get use to it. 4. Pulp bin is huge. This allows you to continue to juice without stopping to "take out the trash". My biggest tip would be to put a grocery bag inside the bin so that clean up is easy because you will have A LOT of pulp at the end of each session. This helps so much. 5. Set up/Clean up is easy- Set up takes like 30 seconds (when you know how to do it). It is very self explanatory and easy to put together. Clean up is fast as long as you use the bag inside the pulp bin. Use the white brush that comes with the product. That helps a lot too. 6. Size of the entire product- It may first seem huge when you bring it out of the box but its mainly the components that connect to the base such as the pulp bin and the top. I keep mine on the countertop but I do not have it assembled. So I keep only the base on the counter because of the limited space I have on mine. 7. Whole foods/fruits with peels- It is very good with big foods such as cucumbers, apples, etc. To help out the juicer, I cut these in half just so that I can help the longevity of the product but you do not have to. You Do not need to peel cucumbers or carrots either. Overall, I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it to others. Eating vegetables and fruits is highly essential to our daily lives and I was highly lacking until I bought this product. I am not trying to lose weight so I only drink one glass a day so to save time, I juice a lot at once and store it in the refrigerator. I figured I might as well drink my veggies instead of not eating them at all. If you are on the same page, buy this juicer and start "drinking" healthy!!!

Pros: I bought this juicer as my very first juicing machine. It is low priced and does juice well. I've used it more than daily for the past three weeks without any issue to the motor. I don't put a lot of pressure on the food I'm placing in it, so that helps. Immediately after each use, I clean up in three minutes by just rinsing it all off (except the motor) and using the included brush. It's nice that it is only a couple parts, and a large chute (just because the chute it extra large, I wouldn't recommend putting entire apples in it uncut. The health concerns over seeds aside, it puts undue pressure on the cutter/strainer. Just quarter the apple at minimum). Cons: On a couple occasions, I've had to take the pulp and squish it into a ball and rerun it through the juicer (I use a bag in the pulp bin for easy clean up or re-juicing); this is because the cutter/strainer is clogged up with apple peel, pineapple, or any extra fiber food (so do those last!). Also, there is only one speed, so very small items will ricochet into the pulp dispenser with very little juice extraction since it goes at such a high speed in a large chute (blueberries for example). I make sure to clump this little things together first in the chute before I turn it on and apply gentle pressure with the black thing that pushes the food down the chute. Oh, and it's loud, but I'm guessing all juice extractors are loud. If you are not sure if you can commit to juicing or not sure if you will like the recipes, this is a nice low cost machine that dose the job well before you spend big bucks later on the fancier machines.

Intente con un ninja pero Hamilton a pesar de no ser prensado frío es rápido y fácil de lavar y deja menos gabazo que Ninja, este Segundo es para hojas y frutas sencillas. 100% feliz con mi compra con menos inversión

I received this juicer a little over a week ago and I am in love. I had been looking for a juicer all over and couldn't find any for less than 150 dollars. Which was not in our price range. So I decided to look on Amazon and found this gem. The amount of juice that comes from this machine is amazing. It is easy and fast. I have seen a lot of complaints about cleaning it, but I find as long as you clean it right away or before all the excess dries up, then you will be fine. I have had no trouble cleaning it. The brush that comes with it is fantastic. Also putting a small bag where the "waste" goes is the most genius idea, and it instructs you to do so! So yes, aside from it being a little noisy this is the perfect juicer. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Just hoping it lasts forever!
