Very accurate

Disclaimer: not a healthcare professional, don't have another instrument to compare against. However, the readings I get with this match my historical range and are repeatable (so, at least good precision, if not accuracy).The kit includes a stethoscope that works pretty well, and an arm cuff for blood pressure measurement which seems to be fairly accurate. The instructions could be better - while not exactly lacking, I needed to go watch a couple of videos on how to use a stethoscope, and how to measure blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer. It would be helpful to have more illustrations, and callouts/emphasis on the important stuff. My notes:1. The chestpiece on the stethoscope has two ends, a bell end and a diaphragm end. The chest piece rotates 180 degrees on its metal tube attachment, which has a tiny hole in it that completes the air channel either the bell end or diaphragm end to the tube leading to the ear piece. There is a noticeable click when these are properly lined up. You'd normally use the diaphragm end, make sure it's lined up to that.2. The ear pieces aren't oriented properly out of the box, and you need to do this for your personal fitting. Basically, you have to twist the metal ear tubes very slightly so that they're pointing forward and into your ear canal when you wear them. If you don't do this, you won't hear very well, and the ear pieces will be VERY uncomfortable.In addition to this, minor assembly is needed out of the box for the stethoscope. A second pair of ear plug attachments is included but I found the default plastic white ones to be fine after I had oriented the earpieces for my fitting.

If I could put no stars I would it doesn’t work and I can’t even return it and get a refund wast of money.

I thought it was working until I tried it on a person and it did. I am very satisfied with it.

I bought this for my grandson (his mom is studying to be a nurse) because he was always playing with the expensive one. The reviews said you could hear the heartbeat with this one. You can't.

unfortunately I had wanted this for blood pressure readings but had a hard time being able to hear with these. If your hearing is ok I think this would be fine but there might be better choices out there in my opinion as we have another setup like this that came in a complete medical bag that is much clearer but this cuff did hold and work better than the other cuff we have.

If you are into nursing and need practice on doing manual blood pressure measurements, then this kit with its own stethoscope and sphygmomanometer could work for you. I usually find that cheap stethoscopes are a pain to deal with. The one that came with this kit is better than the average cheap scopes. Not in build as it looks and feels like all those others. But I can hear the heart better with this one vs the other inexpensive scopes.You do get what you pay for. So I will keep this one for practice and showing others how to do it in class. It is not tough enough to withstand the rigor of actual, everyday clinical use.
