I was looking for a pair of thick (thicker than your average) black trainer socks to match well will my Dr Martens Loafers. These are perfect for the office. The 6-9 are perfect for a UK 9 and they are not too small in the slightest. Nice and snug in my shoes. Although the price is a bit cheeky, these are worth every penny. They don’t compare to your average trainer socks with the heel cushioning and are just really well made. Have not used for running but I bet they’d do a fab job. If you needed a sign to buy these, this is it!

Lovely comfy socks in nice colours but do wear through quite quickly

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these for my partner since he struggles to find warm socks & prefers the ones with the cushioned soles.These have elastic around the foot which keeps them in place, as well as the cushioned sole & padding around the heel.He was dubious since most socks move when he puts his trainers on, but as you can see from the video, that is not the case with these - I'm guessing that extra bit of elastic around the middle of the foot helps prevent this, which means they should also stay put during exercise etc.After wearing all day he was happy with them & confirmed they are comfy, the cushioned soles make a difference & they are also warm without making his feet sweaty.The sizing is also accurate as he is a size 9 & these fit perfectly.Therefore these get 5 stars since they meet his requirements, which means I picked well :)
