Stainless Steel Soap Dish for Bathroom or Kitchen - Sponge Dish Holder

I give this 5 stars for the design - it's perfect. I give it one star because it began rusting in less than one month of use.

I had to get rid of it because it rusted on the ends and was leaving rust marks on my sink.

I wanted something simple to put in my bathroom by the sink and this soap dish fit the bill. I could tell when I held it for the first time that it was made of a good quality steel. I like that it is open because the soap dries fast and it is easy to clean. I just run it under the water and any soap residue falls right off. I do not even have to touch it to clean it which I love because I am a germaphobe. My bathroom is a zen decor and this matches just about anything. I have never been overly excited to purchase a soap dish before but now I'm going to add another one to my other bathroom as well now that I found this!

After only a few weeks, it's starting to rust! Not sure how mfg. can say it's stainless steel. I'll be replacing them with plastic

Oooooo, so close... This is a really very nice thin and elegant soap dish. Very shiny too if you're like me and like shiny things. However, the major downside I see if that there is no hook or sucker to hang it up or attach it to the wall OR a plate to go underneath to catch all the wet soap. Looking at quite literally every other dish soap on amazon, they all have one or the other or both. I mean it makes sense, right? As it is I don't know know if I'm going to be able to use it. You might as well put soap directly on the counter, you'll end up with a similar type of mess. I really wish if came with a bottom part, but oh well. I might just use it as part of the decor and put one of those pretty fancy soaps in it that I will never actually use.
