Butchers Cotton Twine 24-PLY Ball

This string is awesome! It comes off the ball easily (no tangles). It is super strong, and perfect for kitchen use with food such as turkeys, chickens, roasts, etc. I use it in a hundred different ways and always have this on hand. It's perfect wrapping up a gift, in the sewing room, my husband even uses it in the garage. I have bought other types at local discount stores and found them to be inferior.

Ordered several others that were way to thin, truss a chicken and it would cut through the skin. Good that its cotton - some are combos that I wouldn’t cook with. I will see if I can find something even thicker but this is serviceable

Ordinarily I don't award 5 stars but this is good stuff ! I use it not only for tying roasts but also for tying up my tomato and other garden plants

Works great to truss chickens. NO chemicals or off flavors. Strong and reliable. This is a lot twine but doesn’t take a lot of space. I have also used it to tie up tomato plants and is soft enough that it doesn’t damage the plant in the wind.

Good quality, stands up well in the oven.

I have a cast iron ball hanger that you would find in any butcher store back in the 50's. I needed refills for it and found these on Amazon. The balls that I ordered came in 2 days, are perfectly sized for my ball hanger, are nicely wrapped to keep them clean, and the twine is a good quality. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to others.

24 ply thick butchers cord. Excellent for tying roasts. I also use it to tie up tomato plants as it is thick enough that it does not cut/damage the plant.

I'm very satisfied with this product. I've used it on 2 roasts and was well satisfied. It feeds smooth from the ball. Texture on the string has enough grip that you can tie it off easily, with the tension you wish. The quantity in the ball is more than expected.
