Good value and performance
Bought this as an upgrade for my travel PC since I just upgraded the CPU from i5-6402P to i7-6700K, and the i5 was previously cooled by a stock Intel passive cooler. Since the 6700K is rated for 95W TDP and the stock Intel cooler is only rated for 65W TDP, I went with this cooler as a fairly priced option that met my TDP requirement. I installed this yesterday and I'm seeing honestly really good temps for such a simple air cooler. On basically idle (Discord + Steam + MSI Afterburner open), I am averaging around 29-30C. I played approximately 3 straight hours of Battlefield 1 (very CPU-intensive game) on 1080P with all "Ultra" settings + DX12 disabled, and I never saw my CPU temperature reach above 65C. I think is great value and performance for a $13 air cooler operating almost at its rated TDP (91W CPU v. 95W cooler). Please note my temps are from an open air PC build and I removed the pre-applied thermal paste from the Thermaltake Gravity i2, which was replaced with Thermalright TF9 paste.*According to BIOS, the fan is spinning from 1980-2000 RPM.*There is pre-applied thermal paste

Perfectly replaced a dead water cooler!
I got a system from a friend who was moving, it kept stuttering even doing video playback. He threw it at me and said if I could fix it it was mine.GPU had bad fan - replace GPU, still stuttering hard. Water cooler is bone-dry and CPU is thermal-throttling like mad. Time for heatsink!Cons: The usual installation of heat sinks sucks. No getting around that, y'all.Pros: At least mounting this heat sink doesn't suck THAT much compared to the water cooler thanks to needing far fewer screws and not needing a space for the radiator! And it's keeping this old i7-6600K rocking strong and cool, it's almost like a new computer again. Now I have it working as a dedicated rock exam station.

Great bang for the buck
Been using this for almost two years and i can tell you it definitely is very much worth every dollar, if not more. It’s performance is definitely noticeably better than the stock intel cooler that I had keeping my CPU around 20 degrees cooler than it was with the stock cooler.

Quality and performance at a reasonable price.
If you are trying to keep the build cost down, but don't want to sacrifice quality and performance, then this CPU cooler is a good choice!

Lowered the temps over the factory unit.
Got 3 identical Lenovo PCs, put them to work but thought it was time for a CPU fan / paste refresh.

Not Bad - Not Great
The good: Keeps a i7-4790 @full 84w around 65C (24C ambient)The bad: 3 Pin, runs @2150 rpm constantly, a bit noisy if computer is ide.4 Pin with PWM ist a must if your mainboard id gen2 or newer (2013-to today) because they cant control speed on the CPU fan.
