Great replacement part. Easy to install. Keeps time accurately. Chimes work as advertised.

The clock movement arrived on time, and was packaged and protected well. Installation was not smooth, however as the attachment sleeve was too long and covered the hour hand shaft. It had to be shortened to allow installation of the hour hand. The hour hand and minute hand shafts were smaller than my OEM clock hands and required shimming. After completing installation, the chimes functioned OK, but the tone produced is not as pleasing as Howard Miller clock original movements. For the price, I expected a higher quality movement.

Pretty easy to install, about a 30 minute job. Keeps time well. I do not think the chime sounds as good as the original, but still sounds nice.

This clock movement was super easy to install, and it keeps excellent time, and I like the chimes on the quarter hour. I was reluctant to spend the extra money to fix an old clock that didnt work but the clock had sentimental value so I went ahead. Very glad I did. Oddly, even though my clock is pretty small (the cabinet is only about 6" x 6" x 4" deep) when I am standing near the clock, the Westminster chime still sounds far away, as though I am in an old town, but am a dozen blocks away from the town hall clock.

The replacement part came very quickly. The directions and installing was pretty easy. Our clock is working perfectly. I highly recommend contacting this company if you need to replace your clock parts.
