Fortunately this drill was being used for a 1 off repair where a hole in plastic had to be increased to 1 inch.. The alloy used is questionable (I am a PhD metallurgist). In its sealed plastic container it rusted in my home in less than 7 days. Temperatures were 65-80F and relative humidity of 70%. If you are looking for something that will last for years, try something else.

cut thru mild steel easily with drill press.

It did the job.I used it to drill 4 holes on 8mm steel bar. the first 2 holes went ok, really struggled at the 3rd and 4th as it wore quickly.i threw it away as it was designed to be only used once. will definitely go for more expensive ones next time.

I abused this drill bit. Then resharpened it. No complaints. Good quality.

Goes through cast iron like butter.

I Dislike that no one Checks to make sure of Exact Sizes.
