Fits well, has proper screws and not stupid torx ones.
Works as advertised, quality feels same as original.The LEDs are not as bright as on original carriers, but the screws are better because these are Philips screws and not torx screws ;)

attaching a 2.5 inch vs. 3.5 inch hard drive?
Has ANYONE noticed that the DELL Rackmount series servers mentioned in the system list ONLY TAKE 3.5 INCH HARD DRIVES? You could mount 2.5 inch drives (SSD or HDD) with these trays, but ONLY with a 3.5" > 2.5" adapter plate. So how are all of these reviewers very happily mounting their 2.5 inch drives into their 3.5 inch tray???

Caddies are basic enough to slot in couple 2.5" disks using 4 side mounted screws into the server but since they are metal slides, alignment I found was less than precise requiring bit of firmness to push inwards. On these trays, shock absorption does feel minimal when attaching spinning platter tends to emit subtle reverb into chassis. At least on magnetic storage caddies are plug & play solution for adding two 2.5" into slot loading drive bay and hot swaps easier just pulling them out from spring actuated front handle.
