Works for a 05 Nissan Xterra
I got it for my 05 Nissan Xterra, I was able to program the key fob part myself. I got it professionally cut and programmed it works perfect. Car starts and everything. Definitely an upgrade from the dated look of the original key.

Used to be good, but not so much lately.
I bought one of these some time ago, and it worked great with my '04 Titan. These ones I bought at the end of Feb '21 are garbage. The remote works for a little bit, then the truck doesn't respond to it, even though the LED is lighting up when I press the button. I then have to open the remote enough to disconnect the battery, and re-close it. Then the truck responds to it again. I tried a new battery, and it seemed a little better...for a week or 2. Now it's doing it again, multiple times a day. Also noticed the LED is very dim already, like it's drained the battery in 2 weeks. I plan on hooking this up to a power supply, to see if it is draining the battery when no buttons are being pushed. The sellers of this model need to complain to their supplier, or find a different supplier.

Replace Nissan Xterra 06-14 OEM transponder key AND remote entry key fob
After years of trusty service, my last Nissan Xterra OEM ignition key broke, so it was time to replace. I ordered this set of two switchblade-style keys, and had them cut and programmed for my vehicle.Did they actually work? -- Yes!- After the locksmith programmed them for my vehicle, the remote entry works fine for lock, unlock, and panic/alarm.- The replacement key itself works fine. I had this cut by a locksmith, and did not anticipate any problems.- After I had the transponder programmed by a locksmith, the keys can start the ignition as expected.Pros:+ It is super convenient having the keys and the remote entry joined together, instead of separate components.+ the switchblade key is a nice feature+ tiny LED indicates when you're pressing a buttonCons:- does not come with a key fob manufacturer's emblem/logo for any vehicles, but there is a space for the emblem on the back of the key. You'll have to find one somewhere else or live without it.- standard key-rings will not fit the fob, so you have to use a tiny keyring or use a cable-style key lanyard. Each key includes both the ignition transponder (not programmed) as well as the remote keyless entry (also not programmed). To get this to work with your vehicle, you must have these services done to the key:1) get the keys cut to fit your vehicle's ignition lock and door lock.2) electronically program the key transponders to work with your ignition lock3) program the key fob to operate the remote entry for your vehicle. Each key needs all three services for it to replace your original keys. These services can be done at a Nissan dealership or by an automotive locksmith -- there will be some charges for these services. Shop around for the best prices.

Dont pay sky high prices for extra keys to your Nisson rogue
As you might know if you have a 2021 Nissan Rogue , Nissan had a recall on their key fobs, the keys ( they said ) were collapsing while people were driving and shutting off their cars. So Nissan had all Rogue owners bring their keys back to the dealers and their fix was to GLUE ,that's right to glue a piece of plastic in the key slot so the keys would not fold anymore . A ingenious idea right ? I just bought my 2021 Nissan rogue sport and after buying the car and getting 2 keys with the car, I found out about the key screw up. I called around and an extra key would cost $175 to $250 per key. Can you believe that ? what a rip off from these key guys. So I bought these key fobs from Amazon and took my key to the flee market with the Amazon key fobs and had the locksmith guy cut my amazon key fobs to match my car key then took the electronics out ( just take a small flat head screwdriver and open the key fobs and the electronics will come right out ) of my old keys and put them in the new cut keys. Now here is the kicker on this, my two new key fobs from amazon ($ 21 ) two cut keys at the flee market locksmith ( $10 ) four dollars to get into the flee market ( $4 ) each key cost me $17 each. two keys at the locksmith here in town $175 each would be $350 . I don't know about you but I like keeping my hard earned money in my pocket not someone else's.

key fob
Great if you are willing to get it programmed and the key cut. It is a well put together piece of equipment that can be easily replaced. Also very durable.

They both work well, one better than the other though.
Inexpensive upgrade to my 2014 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X.My X came with (as all do) old school key and separate fob. This was a nice upgrade to "modernize" them a bit.I went to a locksmith to cut them ($10 total), programmed the fobs myself (free), had a coworker who has the LAUNCH X431 PRO3S, program the keys (free). Not too shabby for all in at $30.Everything works on both of them but....on one of the keys, the unlock button I have to mash a couple times before it unlocks. It doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it as they are already cut and programmed.Update 10/11/22A week ago one fob stopped working, no problem, I'll change the battery out. That didn't work. So I grabbed the other fob. Yesterday, that fob stopped working. I ended up grabbing my 2 originals and these two to program. The originals programmed just fine, but these two won't program now.I'd be upset if I had paid to get the keys programmed/encoded to the vehicle, but I didn't. Now I have 2 more spares.
