We love this mat. Great for a small play area for my 4 months old son. Just to give him more tummy time n play space.Colors are pretty, east to put together, you can make open connections anywhere u desire. We lay inside where the open area is located to help him learn new toys in the play space. We like how firm it is to get him to grip and crawl. its not soft. But it is softener than our hardwood floors. But hard enough that If he rolls over too hard he will feel it. We have no problem with this mat. We knew the measurements before we purchased it. If we place our baby close to the edge, he can kick the walls down easily. Im ok with that, This isn't for containment, just small area for tummy time n play. The animals come out into smaller parts, Their eyes and the body parts. Our baby is 4 months he cannot pull the animals out yet. So this isn't a problem or checking hazard for us. This play mat is a simple inexpensive play mat for small play area for tummy time and exploring new toys. Nothing more. Our expectations were realistic so we were not disappointed at all we plesently suprised when it arrived and content once we put it together. Our baby enjoys this play space.

Very cute. Was so excited to get this for my 6 month old who will be crawling soon. Wanted to use this for our living room that doesnt have carpet. This item has ALOT of SMALL circles!! The colors and animals are very cute and the material is perfect of what I was wanting for her. But as soon as we put it together my husband and I both agreed it's not safe. This would be good for an older child that knows not to put things in their mouth. The outside of box where pictures are says 3+month. But underneath it says CHOKING HAZARD-SMALL PARTS. NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS. On same area says next to age range again 3M+!! Will be returning

Love the thickness and design of this mat. My 8 month old son loves to stare at all the animals and colors. My only concern is that there are some very small pieces that I am afraid my son could choke on if he was ever left unsupervised. We thought the entire animal would come off as one piece but in reality every single different color piece on each animal comes off. So there are a lot of little circle pieces. Granted if the mat is on the floor I doubt it would be easy for my son to take the pieces out but just letting parents know in case you are also blessed with a baby that LOVES to put everything in his mouth.

This is false advertising. In the front of the box says 3+ month yet on the side warns not for children under 3 years old. There are small pieces that could be choking hazard. Although the design is pretty and fun for kids. Overall disappointed by the design flaw and as mentioned false advertising. Don’t recommend to any parents. Will return it.

I wanted to get some foam tiles to set up a play area for my baby where he could roll around and crawl without hitting his head on the tile floor. I also wanted to get something that was different than most of the other play tiles out there that were either boring grey tones or basic alphabet-style designs. This was a fun one, with animal shapes and a bright, playful color scheme. It was easy to set up, with the versatility of having a foam fence, so to speak, to enclose the play area in. It wipes clean really easily, and the foam is thick enough and firm enough so that I have no worries with my baby hurting his head whenever he rolls over in the play area, yet still soft enough to be safe for him when he's older and learning to walk.I'd say the only downside is that it takes a little while to assemble the tiles to your liking, especially if you want to get creative and build a maze or something, but I got mine set up with this simple space fairly quickly. Also, the foam pieces for these tiles can pop out if you're not careful. It's definitely okay when they're toddler-age, but if you have a baby, just supervise your baby and make sure they don't try to eat some of the smaller foam pieces. Other than that, I highly recommend this for anyone who wants some foam tiles that are different than the average play space for your child!
