Out of the ten I bought for the Tutor Center only one failed in a month which is not bad for the price. Easy to use. The kids had no problem using the timer.

Works well
The only downfall on these are that they fall over easily. I just leave it lay flat on the counter.

it works fine for a $3 timer. There's some sort of gum the stuck on the battery to keep the battery cover from sliding off. The silver front is really just a sticker and it may have bubbles or creases. But for $3, i liked it so much I bought another in a different color.Can be set to 99min + 59 seconds.It uses a single 357 button cell. In a local retail store that would cost more than the timer, but on Amazon you can get a 10 pack for $3. The 357 is the same as the LR44 or the AG13. The Silver SW44 should last longer, but I have not tried that in the timer.
