Q: Are the branches bendable to create your own shape?

No they are not. They are firm plastic. You can rotate the entire branch in a 360 but you cannot bend them.

Q: Can the branches hold heavy ornaments?

Yes definitely the tree can hold ornaments. I have mine up year round with lights and different ornaments to match the holiday. I love it!

Q: Is it safe to put LED lights on this tree.

Yes, it is perfectly safe to put LED lights on this tree. I did and it was fine. The plastic is a hard material and it isn't something cheap that would melt.

Q: Is there a trick to putting the branches in? I have the tree but the base of the branches don't seem to fit in the hole for them. I'm afraid to force

Hi, you can try to rotate the branches while applying force. Some branches can not be fully inserted at the bottom, but this does not affect the overall display. Thanks.
