Wow, neat piece! I was really looking forward to how this looked in person, and I was not disappointed! The outer shell really looks like snake skin or shells... Inside us very thin pieces of pressed wood. Very interesting piece! Go for it!

great display bowl
very nice, sturdy, pic doesn't do it justice. Have 2 of them on display full of fruit, holds about a dozen large apples.I got these on sale for a song, quite pleased. (less than 10 bucks)it also has a good high gloss finish so it washes well, by hand, I wouldn't trust this to a dishwasher.
