Good scrubbing pad!

I have used the Scotch-Brite large scouring pads for quite a few years, and find they work great on some surfaces but not all. They are wonderful for cleaning cast iron, stove burners, and for removing calcium deposits on the pots I use for plants in my indoor garden. As for cleaning dishes, they would work fine, but I feel are an overkill unless you let food harden on your dishes. I would not recommend them for anything that can be scratched, such as toaster oven interiors and other ovens that can be scratched. For example, I have an Anova oven that the interior is easily be scratched with this cleaning pad. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way. I would also not recommend them for any coated nonstick pans or pressure cooker pots unless you are careful not to put too much pressure on them. They are less likely to scratch surfaces than something like Brillo soap pads that are also better for some cleaning chores. Like most cleaning products, they are invaluable for some purposes. I cut these pads in half to make two 6" x 4 1/2" pads that are plenty large for cleaning, and you end up with 16 cleaning pads. They last for quite a while depending on what you are scrubbing, and rinse well so they don't get gross like some cleaning sponges. Although they aren't good for every cleaning chore, I use them enough to keep them on hand. I hope this review was helpful for you.

These are my go to scrubbies for regular pots and pans.. They hold up really well and can be washed to clean. I use them all the time and the only thing tougher is brillo..these are less damaging. Buy them all the time..very affordable and comfortable to use. A constant purchase around this house.

I use it wrap around the check valve input for my water pump, tied with tyraps,,,,,,been doing this for years,,,it prevent all big particules to enter my water system,,,,,,pressure side has a 30 micron cartridge,,,,,,,water is not drinkable but super clean for bathroom and dishes,,etc
