Realistic candles, true white colour. They are so quick and easy to use, just pop in the batteries and use the remote to turn them on. Two functions available, static or flickering candlelight. Came very well packaged. I’ve always had the real thing but was fed up with the smoke residue and melted wax everywhere, not to mention the risk of fire! I have used remote candles for the first time this Christmas and I’m now a convert. The candles looked really classy in the centre of a real pine wreath at our Christmas table. Much safer than real candles especially if you have children or pets, no smoke to worry about either!

Obviously the candles are fake so unless they are switched on, they don’t look realistic in the daytime (hence 4 stars not 5). However when it’s evening time and the big lights are off and the candles are on, I think they look really lovely. The gentle flicker is relaxing and the brightness control is a welcome addition. They give off a nice light. For use in the evening, I’m very happy with them.

They look quite nice and classy BUT the flickering flame is far from realistic. Rather, they brighten and and dim, almost flash like but softer. Im not sure yet, but I may return them as Ive bought much more realistic flickering candles on here for a better price...
