What Zone you are in. If you are in the North, probably not but better wait till late Winter or early Spring. However I had bad experience with Scott on this Bermuda Seed package. If you read carefully, the 10 lb package actually has less than one lb of seeds. Small percentage is fertilizer. 99% are mulch which you can purchase it much less price. It also depends how many sq. ft to plan to cover. This 10 lbs package covers less than 200 sq.ft. It also stated gauantee to germinate in any temperature, even exreme heat, it did not happened that way.

Q: Will it grow in Arizona heat?

it did not grow in Texas heat. scott's warranty is worthless.

Q: I bought it in late summer. Should I plant it right away, or wait til next Spring?

Adam, bermudagrass is best planted in late spring or early summer when temperatures are consistently between 75-90 degrees.
